A player of my server detected a spammer talking about "server DDOSING", I don't know if this is a reason to post here or not, I already banned him from the server. The fact that I won't be banned by VAC as I am not cheating so nothing to find.. it was impossible to play, cheaters do not even official servers, openly use all possible hacks for the character. work a few days and all for nothing. The game is not a gamemasters, find a cheater by nick in steam сommunity and send a complaint against him is almost impossible, some do not even have bought the game in Steam. (server - germany 2)

Just yesterday I managed to catch a cheater who runs around with a blank name (some might know its nearly impossible to punish these guys). The tactic I chose to identify him was the dirtiest way to do: social engineering. I started to talk to him, made him believe that I might even tolerate him cheating as long as hes cool towards me. So after some smalltalk I lured this moron to join me in TF2. As soon as he gets in Im browsing player list, asking him "is that picture belonging to your Steam acc?" - "Yes, thats me" he responds. I tell him I gotta go for the restroom real quick, while in fact Im banning his steam64 ID from my Rust server. Later on he went very mad at me when he realized he couldnt get back into the server, haha. Stupid cheaters. Took me some time but it felt like a great catch! Yeah, I know VAC doesn't ban them if you, or I, or everyone reports them... But the report feature is there for a reason. If enough reports are compiled against a certain player, surely some sort of action gets taken? I really don't know, just thought I'd post what I've found.

First time I ever made it 3 days without being raided. I can craft EVERYTHING. My house was at 85 stories and my metal house was damn near impenetrable. Managed to solo 2 guys running stuff from site A to B, (might have been the hackers come to think of it, 5 bolt rifles, 4 m4s, 4 sets of kevlar and stuff). He looted my shit from my house without blowing doors or walls, he was just in there. EDIT: Theyre still moving server to server, left our but still playing. Just ruining everything. A VAC ban on an account that has 450+ hours into CS would sting for them. Hope they get hell to pay.
