there are some servers up, mostly eastern European and some others, no US/England based servers as far as I can tell.
slowly working at it guys, it seems something is going dodgy with the packets, offsets seem incorrect
Xent is the man :)
Funny how these servers that "PAD" their numbers...like Aurarose, Russian and Chinese sites have 50 to 100 players, yet you cant join. I guess now we know now how many fake players they are using.
You cant even connect to these servers using the client.connect <IP> method, So I am assuming 100% Fake ass bullshit player counts.

they need to fix this.. soon! just started playing rust again.. cause i tough the game was good again..
I've connect to a few of those servers...and quite a few people were chatting...in English.

Dood....all servers are a no connect at the moment
This is only speculation, but my guess is that this is an issue with the game's master server or backend services. It seems that any server that was recognized by the master server prior to the issue is reporting as full for clients, while newly created instances with different ports or IP addresses are allowing connections.
I've have tested this by creating new Rust instances on IP addresses/ports that have not been previously utilized by Rust servers, and I have been able to connect. I've also tried fresh installations of servers experiencing the issue and have not experienced any change, so it doesn't seem like a file/version mismatch or issue. Since no actual patch has been release prior to the issue (that I am aware of), logic is telling me this would be an issue with the Rust backend services falsely reporting servers full to clients.
If others have not had success with IP or port changes it could be due to that there was a Rust instance previously active on the address/port and could still be affected by the issue. I don't have access or knowledge of the game's backend services, so as mentioned earlier this is just speculation.
One thing for sure, I heard Xent working hard with Revolt & Streamline to do tests and get it fixed.
We did try new IPs and it does not work. Only if you are running it from Home, it works for some reason.
More updates will follow.
Well, is no Pluton issue ... just reinstalled a fresh experimental server "Server is full", giving it a port over 30000 , joinable ... weird thing.
Same here along with all my friends .......very annoying
I don't wan't to change ip|port ofmy server. Same shit. When fix this?
Tired of stupid bugs.
my kid and I just connected to my server
Servers which were not online at the time someone used this bug are not affected, also new servers created after it / port changed after it, but someone still needs to fix that bug, i guess its only some time until it will be used again...
no, my sever was one affected... rebooted and we got in. A friend tried but got the server full bullsh*t..
A team named DCRI boasts a massive attack on the rust server yesterday. Frankly, there is nothing else to do? They say demand for access to the source file server for free.
Dood....all servers are a no connect at the moment
Did you not read my post? They had 62 "players" online but yet no one can connect. I KNEW bearz.ru was craphole cheater server and I suspected AuraRose has been padding numbers for a while as well. This only confirms what I thought. This is like mouthing the words after your lip-syncing stopped playing. Just cold ass busted.
same every server is empty :(
Same for me every server is empty :( and i cannot connect ...are the DEVS aware of the situation ? is there a twitter or facebook blog from devs ?

Same for me!!! I'm starting to wonder if Rust will ever reach a stage where its playable, without bugs crawling all over it.
Update in progress in steam for me
Hi guys,
Just wanted to make sure that this is not only for me (few of my friends have the same issue). We can not join any game server, not only ours but anyone else.
Anyone can confirm me that they have that issue as well?
I presume there is an update in progress or something, because its clearly something that is up with the client.
Thank you & Good Day.
i got this from deinserver some hacker team made a new exploit , trying to bring experimental down
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WU1jIYHA_U8
also they then informed me the server is full because its been hijacked
just a shame other hosts were not like dein servers and informed there customers of this.

Well if it's exactly how he said "source file servers" this sounds to me something like sourcecode of rust, and not just the ability to host own dedicateds
Update in progress in steam for me
Just all updates from experimental branch got pushed to default.
Update didn't fix the issue servers still being flooded with shit.
