No, exactly . i haven't change nothing in my settings . i don't change the gamma when it's the night . it's since an update 36 hours ago . do you play on the "development "? . my friend has the same problem too .i suppose everybody playing on the "development" has the same problem . no ?
i'm not saying you change the gamma when it becomes night. i'm insinuating that you maintain a gamma moderately higher than needed to try and improve your night visibility without torches etc/ or that your screen default settings are that way, and that by reducing it down you will likely see those spots disappear. it's not so much a problem, as an intentional filter to stop people abusing their gamma balance. and yes, dev branch is all i play these days:)

My friend , which has by defaut a screen less lighting has the same white dots , hardly less bothersome . If you suspect everybody to cheat , we cannot discuss . i tell you that before i had a beautiful game , and now it's ugly . if you can't understand this ..... if this settings are preserves on the regular branch , i'll not be the only one to grumble , and not play . and i will not change my settings of my screen computer for only one game . if one game only has this problem , the problem is the game , not the screen .

finally you agree with me ! i came here to tell that the the new settings aren't good for me . you told me like i am a cheater , and now you says that it needs to be tweaked . there is an evolution . I know this is a work in progress , that's why i play on the dev branch to see what is new . And if something isn't going in the wrong way for me , i notice it ,because it's just unplayable . when i say that i have ugly white dots , some people says that dark is cool . did i say i didn't want the dark night in the game ? i want dark night without white dots ,whitout gamma cheated , it's clear , no . and i agree this game is worth waiting for , it's why that disappoint me when something goes wrong .
the new update had fixed the problem of the white dots . thanks to the devs .
the night as it is right now, is amazing; just few problems during dawn and sunset, the angle the camera is pointing alters the lighting of the scene, but those damn colors are very sweet.
