Make player sex random and fixed, just like skin color! - Rust

So there's no guarantee you'll stay the same gender/color/height etc when the whole thing is finished.

I thought the game was supposed to be about choice! Do what you want when and where you want no artificial mechanics to control players. Making this kind of thing random and unchangable takes away choices.

according to my friends I change skin color every couple of spawns, any ideas why?

The only drawback is it might make it harder to recognize people you know in the game, but maybe the text labels over people's heads and voice chat make that a non-issue. Whether it be a couple bucks in steam or a rare item in game, it would give people a choice to change if they really can't stand the combination they got, without giving players the ability to instantly change the way they look whenever someone can recognize them by sight.

Specifically "no giant breasts and 4 inch waists." That being said I like the shape of the woman model, I'm interested in seeing what it looks like with a texture.

Never played a game where race was randomly assigned, I liked the idea and it turned out pretty good. There's a lot of variety, which you wouldn't get with customization, randomized gender will only result in even more. I especially like that it might make some people reflect a bit on the subject and realize that's it's just like real life, people don't choose to be born a certain race or gender (although they can change it).

I'm playing a bit of ARK at the moment. All the guys (incl. me) seem to be running around as ladies. Expect their wouldn't be a penis to be seen in Rust if we all got to choose.

I'm more concerned about women find bald. XD I hope at least have short hair. Anyway, the issue of gender is easy. When entering a server that will put two buttons: men - woman. And then the rest to be random and everyone is happy. Or even another botom to put random everything.

I feel randomization of gender should not happen. Maybe the choice to random, but it would take some realism out of the game. I know there's an easy way to manipulate this, but it would be pretty sweet to allow rust to read the players gender from steam. Its only in men's nature to want a lady around. With a limited number of them, it would cause some interesting feuds and decisions for the lady players.

Will the female characters run slower than the males ? Will the papermap be unreadable for female characters?? Will the the food be more healthy, cooked by a female charakter? Will a female character be able to craft two items at the same time? Will there be special female clothing? And can a male character wear them? We need answers, garry !!

Also, a way to have 'cross dressing' is have men's and woman's clothing different. Men could wear them but it may be easy to tell. With an implication of a BMI system, it would make some interesting combinations!

That way while we don't control it, we can find a server that has the level of variety we want.

Make it random I'd say. Remember al the grief when they announced race? All went away & everything settled down.
