I would just like to point out I am bothered if there is 1 Anti cheat or 100 Anti cheats on Rust---( or another game for that matter)

What concerns me is if Facepunch do not inform the players or update their T&C’S then someone could sue them and I want my money and everyone else who brought the game to go on developing the game and not to court pay-out…

EAC isn't being used right now. It'll be pretty obvious when it is - because you'll have to say "YES" when it asks you to install it. I'm going to post something up on the rust website explaining what it is when we're doing that.

Sure, let's make it public before even having it working, so that all cheaters can actually stop use hacks and avoid get banned...

I bet you also think they should have also announced CP the day it got released right? just to be sure none was banned... (and yeah, i know this new anticheat isnt active atm and is doing nothing)

But my real question is... WTF is your problem with having a non working program installed in ur computer atm? a program that anyway is gonna make your gameplay better in the future (assuming not having cheaters around is what you want too)

That's not what I am saying.....but with EAC this is software which HAS already been installed on players PC'S ...It not a not a modified or updated file......Its software. So it is a 3rd party software Installed on every players PC .....As I said before if we where told EAC (3rd party software) was being Installed then most people would be fine with this......

that program was not installed, it was simply put on your computer.

also you'd have to deal with an international civil case
