it IS just a game, and you don't NEED to play it. if a server goes down, change server or DO SOMETHING ELSE. it's honestly not that hard.
as for the devs making statements about why the server is down; yeah they probably could take time to do so, they ARE pretty bad at server communication. but i'd rather they focused on game development given that there are heaps of community servers that provide stable gameplay.
if the official servers go down all the time, why fight tooth and nail to play there?
I just spent a month to get all bps to Start playing this month (this Weekend especially) with some Friends and now they ban lots of Players instead of giving 1 single Information bout Milan.
I know its just a Game and i can Start playing on any Other server (actually i can only Chose about 4 Servers which are totally Full since Else i got 100+ Ping) but if ure in this Situation u just want to Quit the Game. And the Reaction of facepunch drives me more and more in that Direction just to Show em, Even if it is still eac there is No reason to treat Players like sh*t. Eac shouldnt mean: "you Paid now we can do whatever THe f*** we want."

Moderators are not admins. They have exactly nothing to do with the game and its development.
Maybe they have some ways to get Those Information. Support doesnt answer since 24+ h, No official Statement. Its not about THe game of its Development its just about THe server.
If THe developers want a Nice weekend without work then wipe in THe servers on monday.

Yes i know, but they sure do stay in touch with the devs, and the devs read these forums, at least i hope since these are the official forums. Even if they don't stay in touch he could have come in here , give some warnings and just say the mods don't know nothing about this, instead he bans people with some **** motives and doesn't say anything.

From what I've seen the mods have about the same amount of contact with the devs as the rest of the users. The only exception is Garry and that's only related directly to moderation of the forums and nothing else.
As for the bans they're definitely posts that are against the rules. Facepunch is harsh with warnings. Bans [I]are[/I] the warnings. It has been this way since the forums were started in late 2004/early 2005 and at this point there's no chance of that changing.

sure, you can do whatever you want with your time, just like i can. it just seems ignorant for you to whine about something that is easily fixed by changing your behaviour.
it's like a child with their hand in the fire complaining that nobody is stopping it burning them; just take your hand out of the proverbial fire and move to another server. or wait patiently for it to come back online if you seriously cannot live without playing a video game on a particular server for a few days.

So, what we all (I think ) we want to know is: Milan is offline because it is an old server? we will soon see a new more powerful server milan? Yes? No?
After months have played on this server, we need to change server, or is it better to wait a few more days? (no one wants to start "working " months on a new server, if milan should return soon)

Facepunch Moscow II server is not updated too... its about a week. Russian players in sadness :cry:
It's online now, but it's not updated. A whole week passed.
The server in ONLINE but NOT UPDATED.
I understand that the old server will be replaced with the new , but at least you know when ?, and can we have serious response by admin/mods about MILAN, you will update it or should we move on another server?
