I was planning on running it on lowest settings possible, as I don't really care for graphics. I would want at least 20+ FPS (Don't even ask, I get used to playing at that FPS)
You will get roughly 15 fps or so, as in my testing I got about 20 on my laptop with better specs.

So 6 gigs works well, huh? Good to know, they have recommended listed as 8.
Would it run?

No graphics card? Then no, it very likely will not run.

What is SL? I honestly haven't heard of it. Anyways, I am not sure on this one. with a 660 you should be fine, but a 620 is probably a grey area. Also may want to upgrade your RAM, but you should be fine.

Team Fortress 2 and Gmod are on Source, an engine that is very easy on systems, my Pentium III laptop can run Gmod on medium-low settings lol.
ATI Radeon HD 4200
AMD Athlon II X4 630 Processor
3.8 GB of ram
Windows 7
Any chance I could run this at the lowest res and graphics settings and at least get playable fps?

Not quite sure, probably should play around 20 or so on low I would imagine, I am unsure though.
Would like to know how much FPS you think I'd get with these specs:
AMD Radeon HD 6570
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs)
8 GB of Ram
Windows 7
64 bit

Depends on setting, you could probably near max the game with that setup, but I can tell you with confidence you will run it.

Alright thanks.
Okey dokey then... Here is me....
Win 7 Home Premium
CPU: AMD A8 5600k ( oc'd to 4ghz )
Ram: 8gb ( 2x 4gb sticks running at 1866mhz )
GPU: EVGA GTX 660sc ( 2gb DDR5, 1200mhz core clock )
MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision X both agree to within 2-3 Frames...
Running at 1600 X 900
On "Fantastic" Graphics setting: 50-65 FPS average, never dropped below 35fps
On "Fast" Graphics setting: 140-180fps average, never dropped below 100fps
As a side note, while i am using an "APU" i do have the integrated graphics chip disabled, which seems to have freed up some small amount of power and stops windows from continually trying to install Catalyst control centre
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
TOSHIBA
Satellite P755
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2330M CPU @ 2.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
6144MB RAM
DirectX 11
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
I really don't think I can run it though... I just need an answer. I can run gmod and TF2 on high graphics. I know they are different from rust.

~10 fps on lowest settings (if it even works)
we are talking about 2013 game atm which is also in development
edit: dedicated midrange GPU is a must to play this with acceptable framerate and graphics options
something like nvdidia 550+ 650+, 760+ , also add few numbers to laptop cards ... second number shows the generation performance.
or from ati: 57xx +, 67xx+, 7650+, etc... also add few numbers to laptop cards... second number here also shows generation performance
Gmod and TF2 are 4+ years old
Hey was wondering how much FPS and Quality I could get with this:
GPU: GT540M
CPU: i7-2630QM 2.00GHz
RAM: 8GB
Windows 7 64 bit
windows 7
ati mobility radeon hd 4530
RAM 4g
pentuim dual core 2.2 ghz 2200 mhz processor
this is my specs and my fps is currently on 12-15(unplayable) have tried different launch options
wich helped a little, read somewhere that i have to force my laptop to use the dedicated 660m graphics, does someone know how ? any help is much apreciated

These are about the same specs as my old laptop, i would think on lowest settings, grass disabled and stuff you will probably pull about 15-25fps

It's the Single Language Edition for Windows 8. I don't even know why it's called as it is so, I'll have to look it up some time soon. I'll be upgrading my ram pretty soon too.
I have made now an larger test. Here again the System.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Intel Core Duo i3 3.07Ghz
6 GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia Geforce GT 630 4GB RAM
1 TB Sata HDD
Monitor:Acer G226HQL [22" LCD]
Normal Settings (lowest Quality,no Grass.on false or else,no MSI Afterburner)
2013-12-16 22:52:15 - rust
Frames: 1077 - Time: 84786ms - Avg: 12.703 - Min: 10 - Max: 19
Changed Settings (lowest Quality,Grass.on false,Grass.Displacement false,no MSI Afterburner)
2013-12-16 23:23:29 - rust
Frames: 1102 - Time: 89207ms - Avg: 14.228 - Min: 12 - Max: 21
Better Settings (lowest Quality,Grass.on false,Grass.Displacement false,MSI Afterburner with now Core Frequence 950 and Memory Clock 550)
2013-12-17 12:47:02 - rust
Frames: 974 - Time: 78453ms - Avg: 18.725 - Min: 14 - Max: 29
Fact:On the lowest Settings with some Strips it runs very smooth,Fights with 6 ppl are no problems anymore.

Depending on settings, most likely. You also have a mobile GPU, so that brings it down little too, I'd say maybe 30 or so on medium-low?
System Information
Machine name: Lenovo Y510P
Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit
Graphics Card: Geforce GTX 755m 2 GB DDR3 Ram
Processor: Intel Core i7-4700MQ 8 CPUs @ 2.40GHz
Memory: 8GB DR3 RAM
Harddrive: 1TB SATA HDD
Rust Performance: Runs "Fantastic" very easily at high fps, however ever 5-15 seconds i get a sudden lag spike. Any help to fix this?

I would not try running any other demanding games on your integrated graphics card unless you want to fry it / crash your computer...
My specs are:
Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition
AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE OC'd to 3.8 GHz
850w PSU (for upgrading gpu soon)
8GB Ram
I get 90+ fps on fast settings, around 40-60 on max settings.

There is no current fix, that is normal for almost everyone. I run 2 Titans and I get the same issue.
Just something crazy strange that I am curious about. My new laptop i just received is a Toshiba Qosmio Gaming laptop. A very good laptop. Here are the specs:
http://www.toshiba.com/us/computers/laptops/qosmio
Processor: i7 4700MQ
Graphics Card: GTX 770M
RAM: 8 Gigabytes
Hard Drive: 750 Gigabytes
Display of the screen is a 17.3 inch 1920x1080 Display.
Whenever I play the game the frame rate is just terrible low. With specs like this I should easily be able to run on at least medium. Does anyone have a way to fix this? Could it be that the games not compatible well with notebook Video Cards?
The only way i can get the game to play with high fps is if i turn the graphics all the way down to the LOWEST and then i put the resolution to something miniature like 500xsomething. I should NOT have to do this for it to run properly.
This computer like i said is brand new, there are no viruses or anything whatsoever. Also, everything such as the hardware works fine because i can run games that are more graphics demanding on high. Please help someone. Thanks.
Processor: Intel Core2Duo E4400 2.0 Ghz
GPU: AMD radeon HD 4550 ( I know it sucks, but usually I can play almost any unity game with this sh1t)
RAM: 2 GB DDR2
Can i run at the lowest settings? ( Using atleast 1024x768 res)
Most likely not at that resolution. But you could always try and reply with feedback how it works if money isn't a problem
