Hey, I was game banned on this account, i was banned on my previous account, and learnt my lesson, so i got a refund on the cheat and deleted it off my computer, I've been playing legitly for weeks, and when I logged on today, I noticed I was banned. I DO NOT HACK ANYMORE so there really isnt any point in banning me as I learnt my lesson already. I think I was banned because I forgot to delete the windows patched version, but i havent loaded that since i was banned a long time ago. Please lift my ban, I really havent done anything wrong. First off, you need to actually include the proper info for anyone at EAC to actually look at your account; just saying "I was banned" without linking to your current Steam account won't do much if the folks at EAC are wanting to look into this to verify whether you actually were cheating or not. Second, there's a good chance that there could very well still be remnants of the hacks from before left in your system's memory, even though you claim to have deleted your previous set of hacks.

Sure ya did
Well, you're definitely showing up on their official Twitter, so the only option at this point is to wait for someone from EAC to respond to verify whether or not it was a positive detection. As a fair suggestion if they confirm that the ban was for definite hack detection and you decide to get another copy of the game, I'd highly advise completely reinstalling your OS before you go through with playing the game again. A lot of the hacks that are made for Rust seem to leave remnants in your system's memory, and the most common suggestion I've seen around here to remove those remnants is to do a clean install of the OS and avoid any further use of those hacks.

But i still wanna play it, and i should be able to.
If anything is left over from your cheat loader, that'll be why you were banned. I'm not an EAC dev so I can't say for sure, but there's a simple logic at work: EAC can't tell the difference between a stub for a cheat loader that's just sitting there with no cheats to load, and the detectable part of a cheat loader using exploits to make it and its cheats undetectable. So it defaults to banning in case it's new, undetected hacks that didn't quite hide well enough. See your (former) cheat provider for cleanup instructions. Or, format and reinstall Windows if you want to take the nuke-from-orbit approach to make sure.
