• Rust crashes after Windows 1809 update (Client GUI doesn't show up)
    3 replies, posted
I couldn't launch Rust for a week or so. Note, I am on Windows 10 version 1809. I reinstalled that version of Windows and Rust launched and played successfully. Last night the patches that break Rust must have been reinstalled and now I can't launch once again. Most likely it is the .Net Framework update (assuming here). The following is a list of updates that were installed by Windows. 2018-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4483235) https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4483235/december192018kb4483235osbuild17763195 2018-12 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.7.2 for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4470502) <------------ Assuming this one. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4470502/december-11-2018-kb4470502 And 2 flash updates that more than likely are not relevant. output_log.txt file from C:\Users\user\AppData\LocalLow\Facepunch Studios LTD\Rust Unity debug info: Unity2.zip
Anyone from facepunch care to look at this?
