• Starting Server - Lot of errors showing

When I now start my server the command window is getting flooded with a lot of errors and also a lot of text is doubled up. Errors generally show path names which don't exist and other errors are showing the graphic modes don't exist (at the start it said setting GFX to NULL, not sure why). Some server starts it never complete, most times it will complete and allow you to log in. Here is a startup log. Previous setup/patch was never like this, in fact I never had any server errors since I started one. But since this Minicopter patch its ugly starting a server. I wonder what the issue is, and is it big enough for the DEVs to look in to and fix. I regularly start SteamCMD to see if there is a server update. Would be good to have the server up and running again. If I leave it run with all the errors then anyone logging in barely gets 40fps. RIP Server. and Server FPS has drop a lot too, close to 50%
I hope it is also on the superior if I put the server once again completely
I have the same problem. I was able to do is to write the command in start.bat file: RustDedicated ...... -logFile "server_logs.txt". It took the withdrawal of most of the errors but not the errors themselves.
At least I'm not alone with the mistake it is not as my server

Yup! Same problem since the new update on 2/7/2019. I updated my server like any other wipe day & when launching it I keep getting "RenderTexture.Create failed: format unsupported - R8 UNorm (16)." and "RenderTexture.GenerateMips failed: render texture is not rendered into yet, or does not have a color surface." I can join and play on it, but when I ent.kill a foundation or any building block I get a Unity Crash. After that server just shuts down by itself. Also It doesn't show as a modded server no more at the very bottom once the server is on. I shows up like this now ... Mine doesn't show FPS on a Vanilla startup, the other server I run a 10x on wont even start any more, AMD based machine.

Server is now running on my AMD system but it shows as many errors as my Intel machine when starting up. On an older backup of rustdedicated.exe if I start without the batchmode option it opens a rust window, but these past few server patches/fixes it no longer does that and I wonder if that is part of the errors I see. At least the servers seem playable, although the clients FPS starts off good and drop a fair bit over a short time, not sure if that is client problem or server problem or a mix of both. Watching a fair few twitch streams and seems everyone is saying the same thing about FPS too low.
Rust is just busted and should have not ever come out of Early Access while still being such a problem ridden alpha game. Yes, it's listed on Steam as being a complete released game, but Garry said himself in a statement to the media that Rust was to be thought of as an alpha. This is all the while it gets listed as a completed retail game. I"ve tried the server on several systems and several operating systems - all of which produce the same text wall of errors and warnings. Throw it in the street and let it wash down the storm drain because this game is forever going to be littered with is problems. Not only due to game design at Rust's core, but the sloppy and careless programming that is the equivalent of a really bad field dressing in the middle of a war combat zone. Just think. Everyone has another at least two years of this sort of nonsense to put up with too. I guess there's really no point in the Rust Staging Branch either since things like this and various exploits and/or other problems seem to constantly and consistently slip through the Rust Staging Branch and end up in the production environment servers instead of being ironed out on the Rust Staging Branch. Nobody even uses the staging branch hardly to test anything either so why this company bothers having it online I will never be able to comprehend. Look for yourselves on the Rust Staging Branch. The amount of people testing features is laughable so it's no wonder these kinds of problems land in the production servers. The game is labeled on Steam as a complete retail release game. The game isn't even done and it's a problem child . No retail release labeled game should have as many problems as this game does every single month of the year pretty much. I bet it looks super awesome for newcomers too when they see what wall of horrors (startup errors and warnings).looks like. There is no pride in the development of this company's games. One game finished in 2004, riddled with problems. 2019 still no complete games and one hanging in limbo on the Steam store with a complete lie of a completion date. I have one word for this all. Fraud!
