I have a similar situation, when I die, the game crashes and emits Steam
Whenever I die the game crashes on both Official and Modded
Same problem here, since the update, keeps chrashing when I die, or give a bag to a friend.

fucking bullshit 3 days and no fix.... ya lets take it out of early access GREAT IDEA....
Alistair 4 days later after their supposed "patch" is out, the steam crash problem is still here... NOTE: it is happening to me on all servers, its not about mods on modded servers being outdated.
hi i solved this problem by deleting the game and steam try and you
literally every server ive joined to try this out and it doesnt work vanilla modded nothing and even when i uninstall and reinstall rust it still does not work
Resetting the Server seems to have fixed my logging in issues but it still doesn't explain or fix the crashing after every death.
Go into your steam account settings(not rust settings) and opt out of the beta program. Once finished steam will close and update.. after the update your problem will be fixed. Remember it has nothing to do with rust itself you have to change your actual steam settings
