I still want to know where OP got the idea to heat up the PSU with a hairdryer.
i was getting desperate so i googled something
hey, thanks for the replies i'm wondering if XFX 850w core edition is good http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207011
nothing is overheating, i am aware of that whenever i have heated the psu enough, the fan makes a small move which indicates that it has "powered up", as it were so, what psu would be good for my system?
i live in finland, here are a few good finnish sites http://jimms.fi/listaa/26 http://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/catalog/298c/ATX
it is funny but that is not the point, please help me choose the right psu
yeah, i heat the psu with a hair dryer to that point where usually the fan starts spinning without the computer turning on, thereafter i can power up the computer that sure sounds silly but it works
so my psu is dying because it randomly shuts my pc down and i have to heat the psu in order to use the computer again i am very short on cash, i need a 950-1kW psu which fits into an antec 900 (i'm no computer expert so i apologize if something sounds silly) dimensions: 19....
i need a new psu
