Fudge Camp 1- The absolutely most disgusting thing I've ever read.
To start off , do not, I repeat, DO FUCKING NOT under ANY circumstances read this if you've got a full stomach. (Unless you're one of the sick bastards who gets turned on by this. But if that's the case, you should simply just leave FP, and...
why's this in technical support?
Wait, what the fuck? I have no idea. This was supposed to go into General discussion...
-Sorry for this fellas, accidentally posted it in the wrong forums.-
For Crysis try to get at least a 5850.
Didn't you read my post? The 5770's perfectly fine.
Ahh, that's good to know. Got abit worried there.
Windows has detected that your computer is performing poorly
Right. I've been playing Crysis Warhead for like, what, two or so hours, and asfast as I close it down, a message box pops up saying "Windows has detected that your computer is performing poorly. Would you like to turn off the Aero interface?" First and foremost, it's not pe...
You could get a build based around a 5770 and i5 750 if you're including a monitor.
This. I have both the i5 750 and the 5770. I get an average of 50 FPS on Very High with the resolution of 1280x1024. Even if you have a larger resolution the...
Y'know, just because you install Dx11, doesn't mean the GPU suddenly supports it. Also, have you tried completely reinstalling the drivers? As in, running Driver Sweeper and installing the new ones again?
Floaters are pretty much just dead cells inside of your eyes. Everyone has them. But not everyone has the ability to filter them out. And yes, they can be removed.
I may just have had extreme luck with my coolers, though, as it would seem like a major shitton of people are complaining about them.
That bitch have had sex. Satan invented sex to turn people into perverts. Let's crucify her.
It's loud as shit, runs relatively hot compared to nearly all over stock coolers, and it provides a pathetic overclock. Fairly sure that qualifies as "useless". [editline]06:57PM[/editline] Not to mention I called the i5 heatsink "worthless" i...
Not really. I was able to run it on a shitty single core athlon a while back before I upgraded.
I was able to run it on a P4 with 40 FPS, too. But if you want a framerate higher than 120, you need a fast CPU.
Also, TF2's kinda CPU heavy.
Get the 5770.
This.
Let's not turn this into some fanboy war. I like both Nvidia and ATi. But right now, ATi's the best bang for the buck.
Buy the game.
If I'm not mistakened, two 5770's = One 5870.
Let's not get the wrong idea here... I'm still on a budget, just maybe in a different bracket than most. My money goes mostly to my rent, car payment, and past-due medical bills. Once the medical is paid off, I'll be able to upgrade my aging 8800GTS...
And I can overclock the 5830 to make it on-par with the 5850. See what I did there?
I know. I had something similiar to that in my post. But if I wanted 5850 performance, I'd just get the 5850. Since they've pretty much got the same price. [...
As I stated in the other thread, get a 5770 and OC it until it's on-par with the 5830. Same performance, same features, but for 100 bucks less. Or, if you don't give a shit about Dx11, get a 4890. Then you won't even have to overclock.
Some of you aren't considering that logical people think using cost/benefit analysis. Last time I upgraded, I bought a 4850 because it does exactly what I need, and was inexpensive. I suppose I could have bought a 4890, but video games aren't worth tha...
Exactly, get a fuckin' job like the rest of us. I could afford a new gaming PC each month if I wanted, but I have higher priorities, like bills and debts to pay off.
Good for you. Most people don't have jobs with such high salaries. And ...
Nobody gives two shits about the low-end cards. It's the high-end cards we use for gaming. Low-end cards just get used as either a second card, go into budget boxes for poor people. Enjoy being buried in cardboard.
:downs:...
I built the following PC for about 800 bucks: CPU: Intel Core i5 750 GPU: XFX Ati radeon HD 5770 RAM: 4gb crucial, 1066 MHz Mobo: Gigabyte P55 UD3 HDD: Western Digital 320 Gb Moral of story: Don't buy prebuilts.
For how long did you play?
Maybe he meant CPU cooler
Possibly.
*whargagghrarbl* (sound of a fan with pre-applied thermal compound)
Not really. I've got the i5 750, too. And yes, it uses the stock cooler and the pre-applied thermal paste. It's extremely quiet, idles at 35 degrees Celsius and after two hours...
Is the crackling coming from an audio device? Or is the CPU making the noise?
How the FUCK would the CPU make noises? CPU= Central Processing Unit. The CPU is not the computer itself. This is a CPU: [img]http://benchmarkreviews.com/im...
What the Christ, all my friends are gone. Thought I had been hacked for a moment there.
If you are to get a new GPU I'd recommend the 5770. It's fairly cheap, and a huge upgrade from the 8600.
I agree rixxz, my 985 stock cooler does the same. Internet high-five.
:buddy:
enjoy your burnt cpu because of the useless cooler
The i5's stock cooler's awesome. Mine idles at 35 celsius, 50 celsius after two hours of GTA 4. People who complain about the cooler are morons who installed it un-correctly.
If he's still got warranty, he can just send it in.
how did you make this tread if your computer wont start?
:downs:
Don't eat anything until you get really hungry. Then you'll eat anything.
how much more fps would i get in game like lets say BFBC2?
Probably around 15. May be even more. I'm unsure.
You have "The right video card" ? Mind telling us what video card that may be? Also; Firewall.
All I can think of is a re-installation of the drivers. If that doesn't work, reformat.
Spybot Search & Destroy. Always works for me. (Even though I barely ever get viruses. So whenever I get one, it always tends to be a bad one.)
Yeah. Pentium 4. WHOOO! What a beast. And how powerful is your PSU?
I solved it by rebooting. Was weird as hell while it lasted, though.
Right. So I were just mocking around with my taskbar when I stumbled upon something... Odd. As you can see in this picture, something's clearly.. Behind the taskbar. And, what on Earth? A taskbar... Behind the taskbar? [IMG]h...

How do I wash my hands?
I'm quite sure it can.
The 4890 isn't 'shitloads' stronger than the 5770.
In some applications there's a 30 FPS difference. I call that a rather big difference.
