kind of a weird comparison, automata is an RPG first and foremost and has completely different goals than DMC or MGR does that said, DMC3 > DMC4
stop spamming this story, you've already made 2 other threads in different sections for it
more progress on my game, now with style https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PA-BBEXLO0
that segue into Black Paint at the end makes its intro make way more sense https://clyp.it/0mwrsutp
i've waited for this moment since the game's release at first i was hoping it would be pat and woolie since pat had already finished the game, but considering how wrong he is about everything, liam was the better choice
in case anyone's wondering, this channel is a fake
nice to see black dynamite got a sequel seems like a fun movie
the only CG (as far as i've noticed) are the bears whenever they appear and a couple of shots of the wolf here and there i got used to the bears after the first episode and they're only there for a couple scenes so i'm loving the anime so far, i definitely recommend giving it ...
monogatari without the over the top silly fan service wouldn't be monogatari anymore, it's a part of what gives the show its unique tone that and the toothbrush scene in particular is pretty damn funny
less comedic than boku girl but fujiyama-san might be up your alley
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2I7f9OcgOXE video good, game interesting
reminds me of one of the more forgettable tracks on Bottomless Pit hoping this isn't representative of the full album, Steroids was a promising new direction so going back to the BP sound (which was already a bit of a call back) would be a mistake still a decent track, though
the monogatari series doesn't play out chronologically, even certain arcs from the same season here's a rough outline on the chronology (not the watch order) http://puu.sh/Ah3JZ/baa41ecad2.jpg
you can watch kizu and koyomi in whichever order (or kizu right after bake if you want to go with the novel release order for whatever reason), koyomi directly bridges into owari s2 but they were released around the same time so either's fine other than that you're good
the second one might be Ranma ½ and the last one is Dirty Pair, don't know about the other 2 though aw damn, ninja'd while i was checking to make sure
looks like urusei yatsura to me
Bonnouji is my personal favorite so i recommend that has a much more casual non-anime tone than usual, isn't afraid to talk about things like sex and the manga doesnt end when they get together
luluco pays homage to pretty much every trigger project before it so you're gonna miss out on a whole lot of references if you havent seen those before
walk-and-talks are annoying because they're almost never skippable like normal cutscenes are and the minimal control means i can't do anything but also can't just put my controller down and watch the cutscene play out it's a middle ground that has the worst of both sides
maybe Burning Circles In the Sky | The Myrrors https://f4.bcbits.com/img/a3815315623_10.jpg
castlevania: curse of darkness - one of those 3D castlevanias, it has very simple but satisfying beat em up combat with tons of content for completionists lost planet 2 - absolutely amazing with friends, there's so many fun set pieces binary domain - the dumbest, cheesiest, ...
when i have the ability to block in a hack and slash or character action game i will still always dodge even if the block is undeniably superior and safer
yoko taro mentioned in an interview with game informer that this might actually be the reason japanese games (like nier automata and the yakuza series) are having a resurgence in the west https://puu.sh/AdstI/82d4eb3672.png
i didn't say it wasn't unreasonable, i said it was understandable people tend to not like radical change
while i like the new kratos it's understandable when people get upset that a new entry into a series they like isn't what the series used to be not saying dad of war is bad by any means because it's not, but i definitely understand why people are upset about the sudden change ...
i haven't heard of the twitter rant but he seemed same as usual in this video they make fun of the game as always but none of it came off as actually critical or mean spirited or anything
dont really see much point in posting all the individual episodes seperately anyways
kill la kill is very good and i enjoyed it a lot, but TTGL is an absolute masterpiece something TTGL excels at is pacing and structure, and that ends up being kill la kill's biggest flaw, it really feels like they tried to stretch it out to get 2 full cours TTGL's "absurdity" ...
he thought Coco was decent in his review and he says in it (like he often does in pixar reviews) that his whole point is that they're good kids movies but nothing special or amazing beyond that his only complaints with Coco were it being very formulaic and cliche, he brings up...
i mean they themselves mention a lot of the same points in their own review, so it's not like the points themselves are bad
if there's one thing i've learned from years of watching the best friends, they should never play any game on a difficulty higher than normal
try out yakuza 2 and if you can't handle the old janky gameplay, play kiwami 2 then just keep going in numerical order
while the song itself is very well done i found its use to be a bit odd for such a personal moment it's very bombastic and over the top, it'd be more fitting for an emotional climax but since the game has only just started, there hasnt been any time to connect with the charact...
i like that kratos was a huge asshole and a terrible human being it complimented the gameplay
seeing (substory spoilers) munan chohept onast pop up again was a real treat
onomichi is such a nice looking place, really wish there was more to do there so i'd have more reason to explore
i've watched all the best of the worst videos so many times i can remember almost everything that happens in them
that's wheel of the worst #6, since the video titles dont have the names of the things they watch
this is my aesthetic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=es9-P1SOeHU epilepsy warning
doubt it's the best but a personal favorite https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HL-B_Qfj30o
it probably have one, i feel like all the games after 2 have had them regardless i'd still recommend playing 5, it has some of the most fun side activities that are unique to the game (like the taxi stuff and the hunting "mini"game)
there was word of the team being interested in making a sequel to 0 but for now they're probably focusing on making Yakuza Online and Yakuza 7
and that's what caused this abomination https://78.media.tumblr.com/346f4af7cbaafdb71c4117e6cb903074/tumblr_ncpkl3NiPY1sk4crpo1_500.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/58120/d8580ea5-ef5a-4d61-8959-0603af28e691/Komoe_(5).gif
at least the collision itself will be soft and painless
dont run away from your fears; face them head on, learn from them
doesnt exactly narrow it down
and since i know you guys will ask, the watching order is bake > nise > neko > second season > hana > tsuki > owari > koyomi/kizu > owari s2 > (upcoming) zoku owari koyomimonogatari and kizumonogatari came out around the same time so you can watch them in whichever order you...
i'm glad he made this video but it definitely feels like he's projecting his ideals of what he thinks a devilman anime should be (like the OVA) instead of what crybaby wants to be i disagree with a lot of his complaints but there's definitely ones i agree with like the wonky p...
my favorite long-running series has fantastic writing, great, likable and memorable characters with depth and very good and unique visuals it's the kinda show where 2 conversations can take up an entire episode and it's still very engaging and interesting
good professional sound from the bits and pieces i listened to in terms of the content, it does sound a bit like i've already heard it before though, you guys have a lot of potential so i hope you can find your own voice with time

i can appreciate Oushitsu Kyoushi Heine's insistence on constant high quality shading just to make the princes look as pretty as possible at all times https://puu.sh/A2rc7/6330eeb38c.jpg https://puu.sh/A2pgu/aa3ed5e46f.jpg
government plates is very underrated, never got into NOTM myself
as someone who hasnt read the manga, i'm very interested in golden kamuy after seeing the first episode, outside of the really wonky CG definitely recommend checking it out
flood remains unbeaten as their best in my opinion
angel is a great track but on the whole Noise tends to fall into the same pitfalls as most post-Smile Boris albums they're safe and predictable, not very adventurous or surprising
glad to have a classic thread back https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/1752/b389156b-f0a1-470b-8b61-07ed896b8135/kuva.png https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tegE7QyWVXM ignore Nick Mason's name being slapped on the cover, it's a Carla Bley album that the label thou...
does The Hand count since okuyasu was a minor villain if not, probably Enigma
go watch the first episode of megalo box awesome aesthetic, great setting, really hype even though there wasnt a single proper fight yet everything i had hoped for when i heard "gritty sci-fi ashita no joe"
0's use of money in general was great it's a shame the rest of the games use XP for leveling up, which means you'll be getting tons of money without much to use it on
i'm doing a review for no coins and you can't stop me watch out digibro and mother's basement, the hip new kids have arrived
is it just me or is jay looking kind of off this episode? probably just had a bad night's sleep
i dont know how i could go about fixing the lighting without just manually adding it to the textures but that would be very impractical i'll try to figure something out though
starting to get the first stage's aesthetic down better now https://puu.sh/zUh9I/843f329b80.jpg https://puu.sh/zUhaI/b484795e8d.jpg https://puu.sh/zUhce/a4de7366e6.jpg https://puu.sh/zUheL/7da2e80fc4.jpg https://puu.sh/zUhgp/c7f7fb6085.jpg
towards the end this started to remind me more of one of those character study movies, except about an obsessed youtube logger
after you unlock those moves (if my memory doesnt fail me, there's at least a couple you have to upgrade to get), when a boss starts recharging their health they'll start glowing the color of one of your styles (ie. yellow = beast, red = dragon, etc.) then build up heat until ...

majima's transformation was the only thing i didn't really like about 0's ending i'm glad they subverted expectations by not making makoto dying the reason, but on the downside now he doesn't really have any good reason so just kind of decides to
the thing about weekly manga authors especially is that they have practically no free time, their entire weeks completely revolve around their manga, so taking a break means getting some free time to indulge in interests and hobbies and such https://i.redd.it/c7v83g3ywh3z.j...
and hunter x hunter is back on hiatus togashi seems to be coming back every couple of months to make 10 chapters so he can fill up a volume and then go back on hiatus
i havent played kiwami 2 yet myself for obvious reasons, but from what i've heard from other people it's a recurring problem even outside that one scene the fact that they're changing things already is more than enough reason to recommend people to try out the originals first,...
the sound in general is the biggest part, with the stabbing cutscene being the most obvious example instead of having a sombre jazz song that sets a neo-noir tone and reflects kiryuu's struggle, they have a modern pop/rock song that's kind of upbeat which is a weird choice and...
most of the downsides of kiwami 2 are pretty minor, the biggest problem is tonal changes, and the tone is what makes 2's story the best in the series (in my opinion) it's not a bad game by any means from what i've seen, there's just a couple questionable choices here and there...
Yakuza 3's localization removed a bunch of stuff that was considered too weird and japanese, like hostess clubs
Black Lagoon is pretty ridiculous and over the top but i'm seconding Kaiji, other than that: 91 Days, a grounded mafia revenge story (some people weren't big fans of this though) Cowboy Bebop is the obvious recommendation, sci-fi neo-noir bounty hunters Death Parade, psycholog...
from what i've heard, 4 was actually supposed to not have kiryuu as a playable character anymore, but they eventually decided to add him back in anyway, probably because they were afraid the fans would be angry it's pretty clear it's an afterthought when you get to his part of...
really? as great an actor as michael madsen is he was absolutely terrible in yakuza it really feels like every line of his was the first take and he was reading the lines for the first time while he was performing them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiN2gzlqQ_Y
leave the game filled with bugs for the full camping experience
i do have one, though it's not as clear evidently i'll give this one a shot too and compare them a bit one thing i also noticed you do is export your materials with really low quality/bitrate/whatever-it's-called which is something i hadn't even considered before, so i'm gonna...
mine are just placeholders for now too, really scaled down textures, i guess i'm just having a hard time getting the look right
how do you make your textures? do you draw them yourself?
a much better attempt at a PS1-style aesthetic than i have going on
i dont think it's that many but it's a lot, definitely more than 10 relationships
playing with friends made the gmod map a lot more fun than playing alone, even if most of the time is spent trying to find eachother
that was a blast to play, honestly it's what got me to watch the movie back when i was a kid are you planning on implementing multiplayer to this version too?
i feel like such a child when dumb placeholder sounds make me laugh https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkOx5fhj3V8
unlikely unless the devs make PS4 remasters of kenzan and isshin or something, i can't see Sega localizing spin-off PS3 games of a fairly niche series
the first Kiwami adds a bunch of cutscenes that help flesh out the antagonist which helps the story a lot but for Yakuza 2 i'd recommend trying to emulate it first since the tone and atmosphere is key to why that game's story is the best in the series
they're remakes of the original games, Kiwami being Yakuza 1 and Kiwami 2 being Yakuza 2 they're very low budget projects that basically use the engine from the latest entry and new graphics, though the cutscenes still have the exact same animations not the optimal way to play...
i hope it doesn't get OPM s2'd and get transferred to fuckin Deen or something
this is fun stuff, i've only heard Oxygene and Equinoxe before so it was a surprise to hear Jean-Michel Jarre make something more action packed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jMg7eay-zI
Deen have been improving in recent years, they've had a bunch of good adaptations recently like Konosuba, but their lack of resources is always very evident in their projects (though in Konosuba, the janky animation worked in its favor, its slapstick comedy works even better w...
sooner than i expected, guess that means they're planning on catching up to the japanese release dates
