So my computer crashed whilst mapping and after restarting and opening up the .vmf I found it was empty. Anyone know if there's a way to get it back? I can always just decompile the .bsp but wanted to know if there was a better way.

So I actually played his map, he had light sources but they were physics props and therefor didn't spawn. Shame he could take criticism because other than aesthetics the map wasn't terrible.

The main problem right now is that the shopping mall is too blocky (which you addressed in the OP) and the lighting needs tweaking. Other than that it's looking pretty damn nice.
