If EA had Mojang expect Expansion Packs adding tiny features that should have been there in the first place, each for the price of a full game. Also, modding would be too "complex".
that's activision EA isn't that bad. Look at Bad Company 2 vietnam. thats 15$ DLC
Whoo, you tell those bastards, Notch! They aren't getting their shit-stained hands on Minecraft!
Now imagine if. "Google buys Mojang for $7 billion"
Now imagine if. "Google buys Mojang for $7 billion"
Now every block placement of every user will be recorded and uploaded into a huge database to satisfy Google's insatiable thirst for information.
that's activision EA isn't that bad. Look at Bad Company 2 vietnam. thats 15$ DLC
Well, I was referring to what they did to all of Maxis' games after the Sims.
Now imagine if. "Google buys Mojang for $7 billion"
Google Maps Minecraft Edition
I could think only one thing whilst I read this: Suck it down EA, suck it down.
Good. I don't ever want to see Minecraft on Origin *shudder*
Google Maps Minecraft Edition
New Project for the whole world to do. Remake earth.
retail
Why? He sold 3 mil online through word of mouth alone
If EA brought Mojang, they'd be around 5 or more expansion packs
why are you making jokes like this a thread about activision
why is your avatars eyes like michael j fox
EA takes over Mojang Mojang pops out a few more updates, dlc, and maybe a few games which steadily decrease in quality Mojang is dropped like a fly and shitty sequels of their games come out by EA Los Angeles
said Notch of EA
Funny that they snuck that in there.
If EA had Mojang expect Expansion Packs adding tiny features that should have been there in the first place, each for the price of a full game. Also, modding would be too "complex".
Mojang have already said that they plan to release expansion packs after release and there is a chance that people who bought the game after beta started will have to pay for it.
Well, I was referring to what they did to all of Maxis' games after the Sims.
After the Sims? Look at Sims 1, it had about 15 extra content discs you could buy. Bought them all like a boss, however
Google Maps Minecraft Edition
That technically exists already, albeit done by server owners for their individual servers.
-fuck wrong thread-
Good on you Mojang, good that you didn't drop the drawbridge, don't let the vampires in. EA caused that shit to happen, and Mojang wants out!
Oh you.
Who else is hoping that Notch makes a deal with Valve to (eventually) get it on Steam, just to piss EA off.
Google Maps Minecraft Edition
Actually, there is a google maps style addon for minecraft. I remember trying to get it to work long ago. [editline]6th August 2011[/editline]
Who else is hoping that Notch makes a deal with Valve to (eventually) get it on Steam, just to piss EA off.
I get enough people questioning me whether I have Left 4 Dead. I think Minecraft would go through the roof.
Good. I don't ever want to see Minecraft on Origin *shudder*
knock on wood!!! quickly!!!
Notch will be able to buy EA pretty soon :v:
You know, I could see the Adventure Update being a DLC for like 5 bucks if it had alot more features. EA isn't "5 DLCs minute 1" they are more like "No you can't do this you must do this or you will die also here have this DLC"
I can't imagine all the paid Patches we get from EA, If Minecraft was on steam, it'd probably gain some more popularity then it has, as Minecraft has no real ads, (that I'm aware of)
if EA bought it we would need punk buster to play multiplayer

Aaaaand now Mojang is in the same "KICK ASS DEVELOPER" catagory as Valve. they aren't greedy and realize how to make their games memorable. EA just puts out a game from their developers and rings the money out of it like a wet towel until there is nothing left but ripped fabric. Valve on the other hand nurtures its creations in order to keep their fans happy and in turn make a good impression for their future releases. Problem with EA is they think in the present. Valve and Mojang seem to think to to future. And thats why I love them. just to make clear I understand that EA =/= equal developer of games. Its just the publisher.
I don't see Valve fucking wrecking their own games with a half-assed update
Really?
