To be honest the worst update was when they made it so closing the application didn't close the application, just sent it to the task bar.
It's so weird that a piece of software from Microsoft is like the one program that doesn't behave in a standard way with that button.
After using the update for a while.
I agree.
It's really fucking aweful, you can't change your status (available, away, busy, invisible)
you can't sign out and quick sign in like before
you can't see who's online, not even when you message them.
it's also difficult to open a link. Instead of opening in your browser, it opens in itself, and usually in a way that makes it difficult to navigate or get back to your chat.
I don't know who greenlit this "update" but it's just terrible.
What the fuck is this trend on websites and programs with "lets just rremove every feature or stat that everyone uses because CHANGE"? So many websites have gone to shit because of this. YouTube has some speculation on removing older style annotations but oh no thyll make sure to force shitty end cards that you can't disable.
Tbh I just use teamspeak for all my communication needs. It's nice.
I have had a TS server for a few friends that we all use.
Idk, I just don't like Discord. It feels like one of those Facebook group messages where the chat moves too fast and most of the people never reply nor care what is being said. The voice chat doesn't sound as good quality and it annoys me that voice channels don't have their own dedicated text chat as well.
