Could of been really interesting, or a massive train wreck.
Could of been really interesting, or a massive train wreck.
I imagine it being something like CnC Renegade. Completely different from what it is based on, but incredibly fun.
Could of been really interesting, or a massive train wreck.
Well they stated it was for the iPad, so I doubt great effort was put into it.
Well they stated it was for the iPad,
What?
They couldn't find enough google images to use as textures
Well they stated it was for the iPad, so I doubt great effort was put into it.
No they didn't?
Well they stated it was for the iPad, so I doubt great effort was put into it.
I think you misread the sentence. The article says the info about the FPS can be found in an App called The Final Hours of Mass Effect 3.
Still would have better endings than ME3
"mix the play styles of Unreal Tournament and Battlefield 1943." how is that even possible
"mix the play styles of Unreal Tournament and Battlefield 1943." how is that even possible
Fast-paced, low-limitation infantry movement with large maps and opposing factions, with possible vehicles, going mano-a-mano?
I really need to get Mass Effect 3 out of the way before I spoil the ending for myself but I'm finding it hard to play more than one mission at a time the opening was excellent and there have been some great moments but a lot of it just isn't very interesting.
If they had a commo rose like in BF, it would only have two options. "I will destroy you!" and "I'll kill you!"
Fast-paced, low-limitation infantry movement with large maps and opposing factions, with possible vehicles, going mano-a-mano?
So unreal tournament 2004?
Now Bioware will milk Mass Effect franchise to its end.
Now Bioware will milk Mass Effect franchise to its end.
Uh, what, did you even read the title?
Uh, what, did you even read the title?
Even if this did get cancelled, there's no doubt in anyone's mind that EA - and possibly Bioware themselves - is going to try and milk every bit of money out of Mass Effect before the sheer rage at the endings stops that. The game's sold over 3.5, maybe 4 million copies, so they're on their way already.
wouldn't have worked properly in first person, biotics/tech would be way too messy maybe if they made it like star wars: battlefront with third-person with citadel space races versus other factions or whatever and you got a hero who had biotics or tech INCOMING GARRUS VAKARIAN OUR SHIT'S ABOUT TO GET WRECKED
The team was to "create a standalone multiplayer experience in the Mass Effect universe that would mix the play styles of Unreal Tournament and Battlefield 1943."
I want this. Because of reasons.
Judging from how Bioware have been doing lately, this would have been shit i imagine.
I would love a Mass Effect game on the BF3 engine, with seamless space-to-planet ship combat and ground combat. Though maybe not 1st person, the 3rd person + 1st person aiming in the co-op works great.

This just shows how much EA wants to turn it into the next call of duty.
This just shows how much EA wants to turn it into the next call of duty.
It being the franchise? I don't think an RPG release of Mass Effect and an FPS release of Mass Effect are necessarily mutually exclusive. I'd play both for sure.
I want this. Because of reasons.
Think of the battles in the Mako
I hope they were planning for teamspeak. "I will destroy you"
Uh, what, did you even read the title?
I read the content not the titles, now bend.
So unreal tournament 2004?
But with updated graphics and set in mass effect lore. I'd totally buy that.
Just looking at that screenshot, it looks exactly the same as Unreal Tournament 3, right down to the font and crosshair
