Cool I guess?
Did this need an entire news article?
It needs it as much as any game related news.
all this tells me is that 343 studios is a bit inexperienced in coding
or that they are being rushed for release and have to outsource some features in order to make deadlines
or that they want to invest wholly in the story based areas, and leave the editors to another studio so 343 can make something without worrying "fuck we forgot to do forge guys"
[editline]9th July 2012[/editline]
people need to stop seeing this shit as being bad, whenever a good MP game gets a singleplayer you always whine "boo hoo they're going to put too much into the new shit and not keep the old shit good", but the instant a studio decides "hey let's be efficient and outsource the little things so we can focus on the actual product!" that means the studio is inexperienced and you cant trust them

I think people are sour about two studios doing different stuff on a game since you look at Medal of Honor and see how awful its MP ended up.
It would take some serious balls and awful studios to fuck up Halo though
CA have worked on Halo before, this isn't a shock.
CA is also composed of Ex-Bungie staff.
Adding to that CA has been making Halo's (And shamefully COD's too) MP DLC since Halo 2.
[editline]9th July 2012[/editline]
If you think CA is going to fuck up MP, this is obviously your first Halo game, or you haven't even paid any attention to CA to begn with.

The audio is shit at first but it's fine after a few minutes.

Ummmm, what? Neither. Certain Affinity are in no way no to Halo, the worked on Halo 2, reach map packs, Halo Waypoint, Halo CE Anniversary. CA is also comprised of former Bungie employees that worked on Halo from the beginning up until Halo 3. 343 gave them the great honor of creating H4's forge mode so the main development team can focus on the critical features of Halo 4 itself.
And an amazing Forge mode they've made. It's a bit sad though because even trials evolution has a more advanced map editor.

So your saying that Certain Affinity only worked on 2 of the Halo games when there's about Five out right now?
EDIT:
Also I've noticed that when Certain Affinity took over making the Maps for Halo 2 and Reach that they had a very noticeable quality drop, just look at the difference between Reach's vanilla maps (Also the one DLC before 343 took over) and the defiant map pack, or even the Blastacular Map pack to Halo 2's other vanilla and DLC maps. Granted the Anniversary maps were a huge step up but had very noticeable jaggies and weird bloom or something.
I kinda wish that Halo 4 would come PC. I've always wanted to play around with the forge, it looks like it could be some decent fun.
I'm not sure if everything can already be accomplished in Garry's Mod, though.

No, I am saying many of the developers within CA have plenty of experience with Halo. The lead guys worked for bungie from Halo CE - Halo 3 development. They are no strangers to Halo and have a great respect for quality within Halo. Their releases have indeed proved that, and what we seen of Forge mode back it up even more.
Spartan, why would you agree to this?

Trials wasn't stuck in a highly detailed FPS game world. There's room to customize there because you're not dealing with all sorts of shit.
Why don't they add in a choice to create NPC's and such? that'd be great
Cool I guess?

no it's gaming news so it doesn't need to be spread, it should be held from the public until more news happens so they can hide it in the bottom of that article

'or something'
Is this really how you present an argument?
Why don't they add in a choice to create NPC's and such? that'd be great
There is no AI pathfinding in Halo MP, it's a matter of resources.

This is one of his better arguments too.

Was that really so hard to google?
what is Crimson Alliance
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Certain_Affinity
They ported L4D to the Xbox, worked on map packs and such for some of the Halo games and did the maps for World at War and Black Ops.

He asked what Crimson Alliance is, not Certain Affinity. :P
what is Crimson Alliance
Google it or get out.
Google it or get out.
Hell, he could have even clicked the word's " Crimson Alliance " in the article the find out what it is.

Sorry what I meant by "something" was that I couldn't really describe it because it was like a weird bloom thing that made things kind of fuzzy or soft, its really hard to explain. I'm not saying its bad I actually quite liked it.
Well, Certain Affinity seems to know what they're doing by adding dynamic lighting to Forge mode and magnetizing and duplication

Magnetisim and Duplication, Can I just say I love this forge mode more and more?

Also, is this basically a confirmation that there's gonna be a blood gulch remake?

No, this confirms we have the ability to recreate blood gulch.
