I hope this Assassin's Creed doesn't go down the whole 'British are evil' approach - I hope for a Native American vs English, French, Spanish settlers. In the first one it was interesting playing around in the Crusades from a Muslim point of view.
Bows and arrows? Yesssss...
Can't wait.

Beat AC2 and made this ( I got dumbs, and yes, I know the videos a piece of shit, baw about it ) gave it a 9.5/10, should I go get AC2 brotherhood then revelations for PC? Ezio is an awesome character, but does the game get boring? I highly doubt it gets boring, just checking though. AC2 had so much in such a long time, never really god stale, and at times, challenging.
To be honest I find this time period to be utterly boring, specially so if this WHOLE GAME will be set in it. Would much rather something exotic... Japan or something maybe? Some incredible history and visuals to be had there.

Japan wouldn't really make any sense.
Also, how the hell would anywhere else tie into Desmond and the Farm?
This too considering Desmond is of European and American descent and there is practically no Asian descendants that he has.
I wonder if Andrew Jackson will make an appearance. Would be very cool to see Ubisofts take on his character.
Jackson was 13 years old at the start of the revolution. I'm not sure if he fits the time frame, although I'm sure they could find a way to fit him in if they really wanted to. Altair had ancestors living everywhere.
One of the statues in the basement in Brotherhood was a Chinese Assassin. Altair had ancestors living everywhere.
Just FYI those aren't his ancestors, those are just highly well known Master Assassins in the creed.

Think something like The Last Samurai: around that time period, and the idea of a westerner falling in the ranks of the Japanese. But, this is all rendered moot by the fact that the Vault is still in New York. I hope the expanded Assassin's Creed mythology dwells a bit on the Chinese chapter of the assassin's introduced in Embers- not as a game, but as a comic, or short film, or book. I was fairly interested in that business.

I'm sure there will still be some large, gorgeous set pieces. And I liked that part of Embers too. It would be really fun to get to use some Martial Arts style weapons and fighting. But it is rumored that this is Desmond's last game, so maybe in AC4? I doubt they'll let the series die, anyway. They'll probably pull a Bioshock for the game after this one.

I think I found a way to match Connor and Altair's history. Altair's wife was Maria Thorpe, an English noble. Connor's father was from England (From what I've read). Or maybe I'm over speculating.
Was really hoping for a female assassin this time instead of this huge sausage fest.

Why bump a 2 week old news post :suicide:
fuck I just saw that I bumped an old thread :v:

If the British are the Templars I'm switching sides, the Sun never set in the British Empire!
If the British are the Templars I'm switching sides, the Sun never set in the British Empire!
It's hinted that George Washington is a Templar. And wasn't exactly a good guy in this.
It's hinted that George Washington is a Templar. And wasn't exactly a good guy in this.
He was actually (Historically) a Mason. Which could easily make him an assassin, as the Mason's ties to the templars are speculation only. Also: similarities, anyone?
It's hinted that George Washington is a Templar. And wasn't exactly a good guy in this.
All the series says on George Washington was that he had a Piece of Eden in his possession. His affiliations are yet unknown beyond the fact that he is a friend of Connor's. He may be a traitor he may not be, but they've left it ambiguous for now.

Do you think Barrack Obama might be a Templar or an Assassin? Then again, we all know King Richard was neither so perhaps George Washington was neither an assassin or Templar.
