Because being more "less thinking more dakka" like him somehow means he likes CoD's style of single player? Just a question.... Also as far as the fandom was concerned: Jill was a fapping toy already in 3 with that tube top. Wesker had those early traces of super duper moves from Code Veronica but yeah they did go nuts with it.
*sigh*... Again, its a metaphor... Instead of having games that actually pose even a bit of a challenge, we have games that are as easy as going through cod. Thats what I meant. And then she came back in a skin tight suit that later unzips to show the cleavage. Wesker was always shown as that weird "cool" agent with weird skills (and photos in labs with his trademark sunglasses on...) but in the end, they overdid him. And in the movie, he looked like some random character imo. (has nothing to do with this at all and the movies suck, but it was really bad)

If I'm not afraid that I'm not going to be able to complete the game because of low ammo, low/no healing items and voracious monsters nipping at my heals, it's not that fun of a Resident Evil game. I want my puzzles that make no sense, the point of them from a logic perspective is that no one is really going to get that some gems from the pretty clock nearby are what closes the gate. Most people would look for a key of somewhat traditional style. It's really kind of a genius thing to do. IMO, Wesker's personality was pretty well over done in 5. Had he stayed the same from CV he would have been a perfect badguy. Instead like you said, he wound up being like one of those dumb ninja baddies from naruto spewing all his plans because he thinks hes already won, then he gets 2 rockets to the face in a FUCKING VOLCANO. Charlie brown couldn't say it better, good grief...
