disappointing your fans after you have been given millions of dollars just to satisfy their requests is not "better than nothing"
I shouldn't be too surprised that the game ended up being a phlop. But I never did learn why though aside from the development issues.
after playing it i disagree because it feels like nothing was put into the game, nothing is really good about it
didn't they ask for an extra 200 thousand dollars to make the DLC?
Not sure about the DLC part, but english voice actors, yes.
If they make another game kick starter after red ash ect and people still fund it, I'm going to be fucking blown away
disappointing your fans after you have been given millions of dollars just to satisfy their requests is not "better than nothing"
Tim Schafer would be proud.
So greedy frauds asking for too much for an under-developped game.....they'd fit right in at Konami
Tim Schafer would be proud.
Oh god, I forgot about Psychonauts 2. They made 3.8 million dollars on their shady kickstarter clone. Can't wait for the same shitstorm in a few [del]years[/del]decades.

So a bunch of people could just falsely contribute thousands of dollars in investments and then refuse to pay it when the time comes or pull out right before the campaign finishes. is it?

wait, this is that game that should have been out a few years ago, right?

And more importantly that money is taken if a project fails or looks to fail. And I agree with the idea of Crowdfunding being sacred. Look at We Happy Few. I people didn't kickstart it to get some money back. They kickstarted it because they really loved the concepts of the game's setting and aesthetic and wanted to see it grow. Now here we are and We Happy Few was shown off at E3 itself! That's a huge deal to go from me finding out about that kickstarter via an r/gaming post showing off interesting Kickstarter projects, to the game's intro sequence being displayed proudly on streams all over the world!
it's better than nothing to ask a refund for this game !!
