only problem is a) it only comes with pre-built computers as of late and b) i just need them to be sold on newegg
They are on newegg...
What you can't type anandtech in a browser tab? That explains a lot.
lol? benchmarks weren't out when I asked for a link, dunno what you're talking about anyway
Either SLI needs a major overhaul or those 7970's are made of perfect silicon.
amd has had over a year to perfect the drivers for their 7 series, Titan just came out
I was more so looking at those 690's. Quad 580 SLI does better scaling than that. Also lol at perfecting drivers. Have they fixed skyrim yet?
2 pcie slots vs 4 maybe? and I dunno I don't keep up with that shit, but you know me, I'm never going to say anything good about amd's drivers a few days ago my brother's 4890 was overheating and his computer was in general disrepair so I defragged it and went to update his drivers and it took like 15 minutes to install graphics drivers then when they were finally installed I went to enable overdrive to raise his fan speed, ticked the box, hit apply, and the overdrive section in CCC completely disappeared so... lol [editline]a[/editline] so overdrive is a separate thing now, went to install it, "AMD device not found" lol ok
Well I take that 580 info from a X58 board, so you're still not getting full bandwidth to each card. Probably less latency with two dual Gpu cards I'd imagine.
as if that's going to make any difference if it can already run the most powerful game maxed at 60fps
Yes, but we have a lot of games coming out in about that will probably be useful to overclock it for. Star Citizen, Arma III, and Watch Dogs all seem like they'll need a pretty good GPU.
