Just bought this and it's a very entertaining game. Thanks for the recommendation guys!

Still too expensive. This game's regular price should be 5 bucks by now.
The other zones cars are insanely different. You start off fine and then after the first corner end up going sideways for the rest of the race.

Coast & Rally are a bitch for that, but once you learn to control them it's fine. The others are great. I highly recommend this game, I've sunk so much time into it it's unreal.
I bought Trackmania United a few years ago, I think we got a free upgrade to Forever when it came out, I'll have to check their forums out, I really want to play this game again.
Can someone get me this? I will pay you back as soon as i can. I just don't have a credit card to hold on today. [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] Ah nevermind the deal is going to end in about 4 hours and I'm going to sleep. Nevermind. :(
The rally stage (And a few others) is giving me nostalgic memories from Midtown Madness 2.
I highly recommend using a gamepad for this game.
I remember playing Trackmania Sunrise so much... This might be the best racing series ever created, I regularly come back to TMUF, it just never gets boring!
Somebody needs to make a megathread because I am really confused on what the fuck to do. I went on the only server in the united states that was united forever only and it was playing Lincoln Park music and the track was really hard. Then I tried singleplayer and the tracks were easier, but how do I just browse and download tracks people have made? And how do I actually race with people and not do trials.
NOOOO! I fucking love TM Nations and always had a bad conscience for not buying TM United Forever and now I missed the sale. :frown:
just bought the game. ive played the demo before, and maybe i just suck, but are half the maps supposed to be near-impossible and extremely frustrating? ive come across so many maps with annoying shit like tiny fucking walls your car cant drive over, or checkpoints that start you at a place you need to go to hell and back to leave. dont get me wrong, i love the game. its fun as shit. but some of the maps make me want to castrate someone
And i missed it. FUCKING DOG SHIT
I've played TrackMania basically all my life. I sunk unbelievable hours into Sunrise when I first got it, and when United first came out, I couldn't get away from it
just bought the game. ive played the demo before, and maybe i just suck, but are half the maps supposed to be near-impossible and extremely frustrating? ive come across so many maps with annoying shit like tiny fucking walls your car cant drive over, or checkpoints that start you at a place you need to go to hell and back to leave. dont get me wrong, i love the game. its fun as shit. but some of the maps make me want to castrate someone
When you first start playing it is challenging, especially the advanced tracks. Even I can't finish some advanced tracks and I've been playing the game for years :v:. Try playing on short quick tracks, or practice with some more simple tracks, like in the offline mode.
Also, Trackmania 2 Canyon trailer for those who haven't seen it yet:
