Unfortunately what I've seen of III, it doesn't look very good. Looked like a generic covershooter. 1/2 had fantastic stories and driving physics.
The April release date has been known for months now.
There's no way it's going to make it, though. A delay is inevitable.

they let me down with mafia 2 im just assuming im gunna be let down by this, so i'm not going to let myself get hyped up only to be given a game with a significant amount of cut features removed in the last 2 months before launch.

the mafia games have always been (decently fun) generic shooters with generic stories and neat driving physics that I personally never cared for
iirc mafia 3 does have a 'simulation mode' for cars if you want the realistic handling

I didn't even know Mafia existed until I played Mafia 2 so I was personally like "holy shit this is fantastic" so I plan on not watching any Mafia 3 media until reviews are out so I don't see the cut features
