I never gave a fuck about SR maps since they're always pretty damn bland and boring.
Saying IV is SR3 DLC now just shows how much you don't know about it.
Also this sums up this thread.

Then there's no way you played the second one since it has probably one of the most interesting, explorable maps of about any sandbox game like it.
Not even close to comparable to the other ones.
SRIV is like to 3 what Ballad of Gay Tony is to GTA IV, except as a full game
I had a lot of fun but calling it a full new game is a fucking joke

TBoGT is a much shorter version of GTA IV but with a few new weapons, cars, clubs and stuff.
SRIV is larger than SRTT and has plenty of new weapons, customisation options, superpowers, a restructured city (see my previous post on traveling), enemy types, collectibles and more.
If it was released as a DLC, it would be a DLC larger than the base game itself.
They didn't learn a damn thing did they
Why couldn't they pack the clothes/cars DLC with the game itself, its severely lacking in both, as in 80% of them are from SRTT and they've just put them back in
There isn't nearly enough new clothing to make most of it DLC
This is so dumb. Its clothes and a gun , Just don't buy it , it literally makes no difference whatsoever. Its just a few models they knocked out while the game was receiving verification. It's not like a mission pack or half of the bloody island , its just clothes and a gun.

"just don't buy it" isn't the magical get out of jail free card that excuses shitty on disk DLC that should have been shipped, considering this game is already lacking in new clothing this shouldn't be a thing

You know you should really learn to not say anything when you have no idea what you're talking about.
They replaced some weapons. Added some mini-games. Made the world the Matrix. And gave you Super Powers making everything (cars and weapons) completely useless during the entirety of the game.
Not only is SR4 DLC. But it's over priced DLC.
They even said it themselves that SR4 was meant to be DLC in the beginning.
Woah they added new content, changed the world, and extensive super powers.
Ya brah totally sounds like DLC.
what did SR2 add to SR1 that isn't the same as what SRIV added to The Third? SR2 was SR1 with better, funnier writing, more general content, and a changed but overall still very similar map - so pretty much what SRIV is to SR3.
the only real problem with SRIV is not with the amount of content or additions, if anything it's more in the way that they're incorporated into the game

I played it for over 20 hours I know what I'm fucking talking about, played 3 for 400 so I know every inch of that game and I've seen it pasted into 4.
I must be going insane or some people have insanely low standards because this game is some serious bullshit, its like if Rockstar announced GTA 5 would have the same graphics as IV and be in the same city with most of the same characters, we would crucify them for such garbage, why does this game get a free pass for being lazier than Dead Island Riptide?

You played 20 hours but you hate the game this much? That makes no sense.
Did you even do any of the store hacking to unlock more clothes?

Its fun, that's why I played it for so long
Its just the most disappointing thing ever though because they didn't give a shit about giving us a fresh experience, once you finish the short story the free roam is nothing but SR3 with powers, there's nothing to do
I'm already bored of free roam because I've already experienced most of it before, I wanted to get 100% but stopped way before that because the challenges and activities were mostly reskinned things you could do in 3 like mayhem, fraud and racing etc
Instead of building upon the old sequel they just put a sticker on it, I would have said put a new coat of paint but its the same fucking map too

I did. Nothing really interesting, nonetheless my favorite in the series.
I really wish they just did more with the map.
My biggest gripe with 3 and 4 was the fact that the map just felt so small and lifeless.
In saints row 2 you had shit like the university, those secret islands, the underground tunnels, and other cool shit.
In saints row 3 it just kind of felt like a smallish city, I really can't name many landmarks.
Don't get me wrong, I loved 4, but they really could have done more to the map other than "floating pillars"
You know you should really learn to not say anything when you have no idea what you're talking about.
I'm not sure what you're talking about when a lot of the new clothing (little though there is) is just movie references, and some options from SR3 are even missing.
and some options from SR3 are even missing.
It infuriates me that I won't be able to recreate my exact character because SR4 doesn't have the mouth-covering bandana.

How does one even play Saints Row The Third for 400 hours? It's a great game, but there's less content than IV and it's not as fun anyway.
