I hope there's more stealth than Assassins Creed.
Not sure how i feel about the magic powers
Those stilt troopers are bad-ass, I love their shields and bows
Seen the trailer a few times now and while I still think Dishonored is going to be a boss game I still can't help but laugh at the 'Revenge Solves Everything' tagline after that nobleman claims it won't.

It wasn't your typical "Killing me won't solve anything!" bit. Normally the guy tries to dissuade the hero, then you have the hero spending a minute to contemplate his actions, then either the guards break in, forcing him to flee, or he releases the guy to show that he is the better man and then flees. No, he storms the room, kills the guards, then slits the guys throat as he is trying to dissuade the hero. He doesn't even show any remorse for his actions. There is no pause for contemplation, no moment of clarity or righteousness, just cold-blooded revenge. How often does a game really show that, let alone make it a key feature in a trailer?

One thing I'm hoping is that you can choose to end a conflict nonviolently, such as convincing someone to back down or something, then still kill them afterwards. Like, you could convince a major boss not to fight you, and then as they start to run, you just shoot them in the back.
We knew Dishonored was coming but we had no idea what it was about or what it would be like. I'd say this is a pretty major announcement.
Acutally main information on the game has been avalable for about 6-8months now, including bits the trailer doesn't show such as being able to summon rats and mind control, and rats are portrayed as a major narrative/gameplay element in the game, etc. We've even had screenshots and such. This is the first time we've seen anything "in motion" though, and the first time it's been announced "offically" from the first party (the studio itself).
cant believe its a custom version of Unreal Engine 3
It looks interesting...
