"I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: EA needs Valve for Battlefield 3 to be successful against Modern Warfare 3" 5 Million copies sold through to consumers on week 1 is pretty damned successful I'd say. People have a hard time grasping that just because they refuse to use Origin, does not mean that entirety of the pcgaming verse is standing behind them. People will use whatever platform they have to to play the games they want to play. It was like this for Steam and HL2, and now it's like this for Origin and BF3. RPS articles are not journalism so long as quotes like this continue to spew out of them.
log into origin log into battlelog finally let bf3 load game crash let bf3 load
For me it's almost always log onto battlelog(auto fill makes this almost instant) select server load play
You run steam, steam starts game, join server from game, don't have to restart game for each server.
In the beta, closing the game and then joining a new game took me maybe a bit longer than joining a tf2 server
You run steam, steam starts game, join server from game, don't have to restart game for each server.
You don't really have to restart the whole game with battlelog either. You only go trough the loading that happens before joining a server with any other game, so it's pretty much identical to quitting a server and joining another server in any other game.
Yeah? How's that different from using steam for example? Start steam Start your game Go trough all the intros, get to the menu Go into the server browser, select server Let game load.
It's because Origin is actually a trojan and will take away your games.
What's the point of announcing it this late after millions of fans has already bought the origin copy? Unless there are ways to migrate it to over steam, I don't see why I should buy the game again on Steam for not wanting Battlelog and Origin
Do you realize how much of an increase in sales happens when a Steam pop up ad saying "Available Now!" happens? Most people don't follow game news, most people on Steam and other PC game platforms don't even know what Origin is.
i'll buy it if it comes on steam
You should buy it anyway. It's neat. Especially the Rush gamemode with a squad and microphones!

How do you know that there is a difference between Steam's "Available Now!" and real life "Available Now!" How do you know that "most" pc gamers don't know what Origin is?
i'll buy it if it comes on steam
This. There's no other way I'm buying it.

With Steam, for some reason "loading the game" isn't part of the requirements to join a multiplayer game. From what I gather, Steam must completely eliminate all the negative things about playing a game.
If this game gets on steam, i will redeem it from stinking Origin and buy it again on Steam.
This. There's no other way I'm buying it.
Same here, Also your avatar is the guy from that show where he travels around the world and is afraid of stuff right?
