It's being a fucking bullshit piece of shit. My order's been completed and everything and my £39.99 game still isn't showing up.
Using support, but I'm guessing it's going to be a pile of shit so I'll just drop them a ticket and hope they sort it out quickly even though it'll probably still take days to fix.
Cunts.

Oh it's livechat, might be okay.

Oh LOL!
It appears I bought Premium expecting it to contain Battlefield 3 as well, but it doesn't!
Now I have to fucking buy that..
A. It probably takes a while to get the order because some dicks used proxies to get lower prices and ruined it for everyone.
B. The EA support is much more helpful than Steam support (not saying Valve sucks so don't get all fanboyish on me)
C. Why don't you pay attention to what you buy? That is clearly your fault.
D. Nothing is wrong with Origin, in fact you can download faster on Origin than Steam.

Why the fuck would they allow you to buy an upgrade for a game without ensuring you have the game first?
It makes no fucking sense what-so-ever.
hahah it says right on the premium thing that it requires Battlefield 3 to play and says it just includes the expansions. Also it probably would happen on Steam, considering your eyesight.
It expects people are smart enough to know what they are buying

Because they expect you to be capable of reading the product.

Gay as fuck.. basically forced into spending £80 FUCKING POUNDS due to a misleading bullshit website.
Origin can choke on a bag of dicks. I'm never using it to buy anything again, this would never have happened on Steam.
Hahahahaha oh my god how dumb can you be hahah this is fucking hilarious

Not, because Steam clearly state what is DLC and what is a game.

How is your stupidity Origin's fault?
Battlefield Basegame 3 not included
No, you just can't read.
[editline]29th July 2012[/editline]
Not to mention
Battlefield 3™ Premium includes expansion packs Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath, and End Game. If you buy Battlefield 3 Premium, these should be accessed through the Battlefield 3 Game Details page on Origin at no extra charge.
Nowhere in that does it say it actually includes the game.
Alright I guess I kinda over-reacted initially. I'd have probably bought the DLC pretty fast anyway so I guess this just saves time and let's me play on more servers.. Just hope it's £80 well spent, and from the beta I can tell it probably will be, seeing as I got many hours fun out of that.
I still think they shoulda stopped you from accidentally purchasing this without owning the original game, it looked like a great deal - and I can see this becoming quite a common issue for them.
I didn't feel the need to read the product page nor the system requirements because I already know what the game's about, so I missed the part about it not including BF3.
Also, their support was indeed much better than Steam's.

Only for people who don't read the product information.

I'm wondering if this is a EA/ Origin Store wide thing, or if it just applies to the BF3 Premium. As far as I remember, buying expansions and shit for the games on Origin isn't possible without the game. Though if you are still really unsure about owning Premium, you could see if EA Support can refund it as an accidental purchase or something. Though it doesn't exactly have any downsides if you were going to buy everything anyway.
Third one is pretty much the same as BF3's DLC. Eight new maps, seven new weapons, sixteen new vehicles for $30, double the price of BF3's DLC.
Didn't the weapons actually change the way the game was played a little? (Like jetpacks and shit)
why do they advertise vehicles in DLc when they're part of the map and mostly handle the same as the core games?
nope. this is how you do DLC:

The Episodes of liberty city were pretty much games of their own.
Where is the cheapest country/site to buy premium from?
This BF3 DLC is actually shaping up pretty darn well! Look at Armored Kill for christ sake, insane!
Reminds me of Kursk in BF1942

You only get jetpacks on the expansion pack levels.
