how is dragging and dropping mod files into the .jar hard?
about as hard as nothing being anywhere fucking near compatible and requiring at least two to three plugins beforehand if I want to download anything that's not super minimal
about as hard as nothing being anywhere fucking near compatible and requiring at least two to three plugins beforehand if I want to download anything that's not super minimal
It's like trying to say "oh well why can't I just drag Doom 3 into WoW and make them one game?"
Every community has people who don't totally understand things. In the case of Minecraft, people gave shit because they didn't realize that was meant to stop servers that, say, limit you to Stone equipment unless you pay real money for "premium"/better tools. To be on topic, I'm in the middle on this. Been said numerous times already, but Microsoft could do great things for Minecraft as well as terrible things. All we can really do is wait.
this used to happen in gmod aswell (dont know if it still does though) as far as i remember, wouldn't let you use any tools unless you payed for membership
i feel really bad for the guy
Since the Minecraft community can be more cancerous than any other game community i can see why he got tired of it, and im glad i quit the game eons ago, fuck knows what Microsoft will do with it.

I've never liked how they did that.
That "This is Phil Fish" video feels dramatically different now considering the events of the past few weeks, especially with allegations of blatantly illegal activity.
That "This is Phil Fish" video feels dramatically different now considering the events of the past few weeks, especially with allegations of blatantly illegal activity.
The video never tried to imply he was not a dick. It even called him out for talking to one asian guy and being like "you people need to stop sucking at games" But yeah, it seems outdated now. As for Notch, we did not feel as sorry for him as we do now when he was releasing updates we did not like, or when we idolized every video THE BEST GAMERS had made about the game. At least he is done with all this, and a few million dollars richer.
2017, this is gonna be garry handing over Rust to EA or something. The only thing better about the Rust community compared to the Minecraft community is that the number of Rust kids under the age of 12 is much smaller [sp]naked bald man penis[/sp]
