Five Nights at Freddy’s RPG spin-off skips Feb release plans, is out now

I just hope his next game does something a bit more advanced than what he's currently doing, like a full on 3D game would be rather interesting to see him do.
GO AWAY
If there are no jump scares and it's just a dark RPG, I'll try it out.
If I was a parent and my son asked me to buy this for him
I'd give him Undertale

If people give Call of Duty shit for a annual release, wouldn'f it be fair to criticize Scott making four FNAF games in the span of a year.

That doesn't matter because I don't like Call of Duty!!!
I really can't blame him for making so many of these. I just hope he goes back to the bizarre games he was making pre FNaF
He just posted an apology for releasing it early.
Hi everyone.
This isn’t exactly an announcement that I’m enjoying writing, but it’s one that I feel I owe to the community.
You know, I’ve been accused of rushing my games ever since FNaF 1, but I’ve never felt that I’d released a game too early… until now.
There are a lot of features that this game should have had before release, features that I was told about, but ignored and didn’t implement. Features such as being able to see what abilities do during battle, or being able to see a stats page for your characters. These are features that any good RPG would have.
I got too eager to show the things that were finished, that I neglected to pay attention to the things that weren’t.
I’m going to fix this, and I’ll be updated the game with these features in the coming weeks.
So I say this to a community that I’ve enjoyed and respected for over a year and a half now- I’m sorry. I will continue to add features to the game and make it right.
As I'll say again, he can make any shitty game he wants and put a FNAF spin on it, I don't blame him, it's easy money with the huge following it has.
Is it scummy? Kinda, but I would do it too if it meant millions on the line. That's what keeps me from outright hating him.

I still think Cawthorn will eventually go the path of FNaF crossover DLC for games that have nothing to do with it, because such a crossover is nothing short of a fountain of gold for both him and whoever signs a deal with him. In fact, i wouldn't put it past Overkill and/or Games Workshop to sign a deal for FNaF DLC for their respective games.

Doom X FNAF when
Can we stop shitting on the game? Look at what the developer said. He isn't pulling a Ubisoft but it seems like Ubisoft is slowly getting their shit together. The game seems a bit meh from what I've seen. I really hope he doesn't do DLC for his games though..

Eh, I kinda doubt he'd do that. He already did DLC of a sort for FNAF 4, with an entire new set of animatronics, and released it for free as an update.

As I said, if we yell at other series and companies for releasing main series titles once a year, it's entirely fair to criticize a series that releases four main series titles in a year + one spinoff title. Sure he doesn't sell DLC (I doubt he would), but Scott has a release schedule that Activision or Ubisoft dream of having.
Even if Scott isn't intentionally milking the series, franchise fatigue is going to set in even for the most hardcore fans.

Already been done, several times.
New update: The game has been pulled from Steam!
Hi everyone, I wanted to make a post about the fate of FNaF World. Even though the game had a "Very Positive" rating with 87%, I was not satisfied with the reviews and ratings it was getting.
For that reason, I've decided to remove the game from Steam. I've also asked Valve to make it so that the game can be refunded regardless of the amount of the time it has been owned, meaning that anyone can get a refund at any time. It may take them a while to set that up, but it will be in place soon.
I'm still going to work on FNaF World and polish it up. I'm busy creating a fully 3D overworld for the game. When I'm ready to update the game, I will replace the demo currently on GameJolt with the full game. From this point forward, the game will always be free.
I appreciate your support, and I encourage you all to refund your Steam game (even if you enjoyed the game), and download the new version when it becomes available on GameJolt. :)

This actually seems pretty awesome if you ask me. In spite of positive ratings he's actually listening to criticism, and has decided to pull it off and fix the game to be up to par, and give refunds even if you've played two hours.
And then he's just going to give it away for free anyway! He could have just done half of that and that'd be enough, but he's going whole hog. After dealing with a dev like Overkill who couldn't give less of a fuck about their fanbase's opinion or standards for game design, that's amazing. He still puts out a bunch of games really fast with flaws before they're supposed to be released, but as far as I'm concerned this earns him a big spot on my list of good game developers.
Not sure if Scott intented the game to be f2p on Steam too but it seems you can install it now by using this:
steam://install/427920
Just paste it on any web browser and it will open an installation window on Steam. It adds FnaF World Free-to-play license to your profile.
