Fuuck I just bough Rainbow Six gold like 6 days ago :v:
Ghnnn I want rage at this price, but it's so fucking huge, I'd rather buy retail so I don't blow up my bandwitdh limit.
Oh fuck me, I've been waiting for a Payday the Heist sale while I have some money for so long. Yesterday Serious Sam, today Payday the Heist. FUCKAWWFHH.
When drawing comparisons I was more thinking about stuff like "Your companions now all puke rainbows" or "There's a lot more emphasis on dinosaur hunting than tax paying" or "Your character is a lot more item dependent, so if you suck it's probably not your skill that's lacking but your purse." But thanks for your time.
Combat is based on skill, then is improved with level/abilities (so the right ability will make you a lot better, but if you aren't good to begin with you'll just be multiplying 0 which always gives you 0). Parrying and dodging (especially the latter) is very important (it's not an easy game, especially at the start). Some features are pretty unique, for example potions and alchemy work in very peculiar (and awesome) ways (potions last several minutes and are meant to be taken carefully and with a lot of thought behind them). You usually don't travel with companions, but there are persistent characters that will be around for more or less the entirety of the game. Dialogues and choices are above anything I've played in the last 10 years. The entirety of Act 2 changes depending on a choice in Act 1 for example (and Act 2 is pretty much 45% of the game). You get a tonne of choice, which is way beyond the usual Bioware standard of "Kill him reluctantly or kill him eagerly". Also the characters are for the most part not over-done, cartoonish caricatures that always have to act in a way that accentuates their personality quirks like a huge, obnoxious flashing red arrow (some see the characters as not being as interesting, and maybe it's just me preferring things that are more subtle and not as obvious, but I find it to be a big +1 over 99% of the RPGs out today). [editline]26th November 2011[/editline] First time I played TW2 I went with one choice in Act 1, when I replayed the game with the other choice I realized I had missed so much (also it answered a tonne of questions left unanswered in the first).
"Buy now" Tom Clancy games: Rainbow Six 3 Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Original Ghost Recon Debatable as "Good", But for their current price they're worth getting: Splinter Cell Conviction Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2 Rubbish: Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2 Splinter Cell Double Agent HAWK 1 & 2
HAWX is a great laugh in co-op though.
Finally got Evil Genius
Why, all these sales when I'm out of money?
So, Rage, is it worth that price?
I bought Civilization V for $50 when it was new, it's totally worth the $10 it is on sale.
Overlord pack worth getting?
payday: the heist looks tempting
I bought Civilization V for $50 when it was new, it's totally worth the $10 it is on sale.
I was heisitant about purchasing it but I couldn't pass up the GOTY edition for $16.
Bought payday. Awwwwwww yeah!
payday: the heist looks tempting
Its shit
the ones i have played and suggest is overlord pack and witcher 2. overlord is fun, witcher is great didnt like polymonial, worms is good if you have friends to play with, others havent played
I was heisitant about purchasing it but I couldn't pass up the GOTY edition for $16.
Does that contain all the DLC?
I wouldn't recommend Witcher 2, it plays like a bad Dragon Age ripoff even though it looks like Crysis 3
I'm confused. It is now the 27th in November. Does that mean that once this day is over I am forever exempt from this deal, or will there be another sale day due to it being the 26th in America?
Anyone who hasn't played TW2 yet, first slam your head against the wall for having waited so long, the buy it.
I liked the game apart from all the sex scenes
MY MONEY WHERE THE FUCK IS ALL MY MONEY
I've spent almost five hours in Deus Ex HR and just finished the first mission. This game is amazing, I highly recommend it while it's still on sale. I did a lot of exploring and in the beginning I loaded a checkpoint while I was getting the hang of the game but I love it. I chose long range non-lethal but later picked up a pistol and machine pistol, so I get a mix of non-lethal stealthy and lethal fighting.
Yep that's hr, that game was fun
Bought the entire Tom Clancy Franchise. I am bad with money
Yay more games i cant get.
Why did I read it as "Autism Sale" :v:
Incoming loads of images for K&L2 (Seeing it's on sale.) Think about getting this game. Please.
Something wrong with your head? Let's all post screenshots of games on sale?
Unreal Deal pack is 9.99 If there are no other good sales I'm sooo buying this
Bought the entire Tom Clancy Franchise. I am bad with money
I'll see if I can get that during the Christmas sale, I don't want to spend more money right now. The only Rainbow Six games I have played are Rainbow Six 3 and Rainbow Six Vegas.
Kane & Lynch 2 sucks so much dick it now breathes spunk instead of air
I wouldn't recommend Witcher 2, it plays like a bad Dragon Age ripoff even though it looks like Crysis 3
when did we start calling better products "rip offs"
