And obviously the best way to do that is to take the websites offline causing potential money loss. And also increasing the felony on their heads.
Maybe they have the right idea, but they're going about it all wrong.
Scare tactics work.
Leage of Legends is down too
FFS, It was just DDOS attack.

Nothing Lulzsec did never really affected me, until they took down LoL. :sigh:
THEY'RE DDOSING LEAGUE OF LEGENDS TOO, OMG.
;_;
Facepunch was doing premade and yeah.. So we went to Twitter and yup..
LulzSec The Lulz Boat
And that concludes our DDoS party: Escapist Magazine, Eve Online, Minecraft, League of Legends + 8 phone requests.

You have met them?
Honestly don't see the point, they're not like, fun targets you know, it's just DDoSing because you can.
What is their purpose? Why are they hacking so many sites? They say they want to improve online security and / or laugh at it, but it's almost like someone who breaks into your house but comes back later to tell you about how crap your door's lock is.
Honestly I just want them to be caught. It will be hilarious. Although Facepunch is a bit obscure, I'm worried they might take us down though.
facepunch isn't obscure.
Ddos is not hacking.
"Update 2: League of Legends is the latest target. Its login servers are currently down, with its website also apparently suffering."
Sounds like a normal day for me
"as well as knocking out gaming site The Escapist."
FUCK NO.
i fucking hate people like this. they brag about the things they do and taunt people about it, only doing it for the attention.
goddamn, i can't wait until someone catches these fucks
The government should kick their asses. I swear to god, the group Lulzsec is not even Lulz-worthy of anything except being huge douchebags.
Oh, yeah, also, if Lulzsec tries to bring Facepunch down, good luck to us all then.
I bet Obama is the CEO of LulzSec. Seriously, nobody would bother to check him
inb4 LulzSec hacks Valve to delete episode three, but then sees that there's nothing called episode three on any of their computers. :saddowns:
"as well as knocking out gaming site The Escapist."
FUCK NO.
As long as it's up on wednesday there's no problem. Zero Punctuation and Extra Credits are the only decent things on The Escapist.
I wonder if Yahtzee will mention this in tomorrow's review
So wait, we have the Brink source code leaked on the net now? That's kinda cool.
FUCK OFF LULZSEC! When will they get CAUGHT! This is getting fucking old now, all they do is attack people who don't deserve it. Instead of worthy people like IGN and Activision.
It's goddamn hillarious.
Impressive but seriously, what the fuck in fuels them to do this? Ruining the fun of people is the biggest asshole move I've seen virtually.

You realize that there really is no way for the to be caught? They don't know each other, they are a huge group, and catching one tells you nothing about the others. It will effectively always exist unless they get bored of it.
The phrase "kicking puppies" comes to mind.
