I'm still fine with the level of graphical fideltity we have. There's a reason why Epic thinks that next gen game production will cost twice as much to develop.
That being said; The GTA 5 trailer and screens are very impressive to me.
Sure, with what kind of pc? lemme guess 1000-1500$?
Pc gaming is small because top range pc's costs way too damn much.
My PC cost about $500 and I can run most modern games at over 720p on Medium, if not High, settings.
This means my PC costs less than the average prebuilt PC and can play games well enough, while giving me better graphical quality than consoles and the better hardware gives me more benefits for general computing. Who needs top of the line when modern games on Low are same as console? If you don't mind consoles graphically then a PC even cheaper than mine will play games on Low.

For something that you could be using for years to come, that's not as bad as you're making it out to be.

Pc games are cheaper than console games so over a certain time scale (few years) the price is the same and gets cheaper as time goes on.
TL:DR its actually cheaper to have a PC for gaming.
I'm a console guy only because I have a ton invested into it. But pc is way cheaper and better than consoles. I would love to switch to pc but my friends won't and I love my Xbox. The graphics look great to me.
Funny that you should say that, I've been playing GTA IV for the last hour with everything maxed out at a constant 60 FPS.
the fuck do you have a military super computer or something
Jesus christ that is ugly
looks like a game from 2003
...Consoles :v:
loving the lack of AA
iv and rdr and every other console game suffers from the same stuff but ive never really paid any attention to it ever so i dont care
I guess as long as the PC version can be heavily modded theres not much to worry about

not hard to understand, nobody is forcing you to use a PC

Kinda funny, I got my whole setup bought from craigslist and built for around $600 and I can run GTA IV and Crysis (first one, it has more stuff to blow up) and a couple other amazing games at 60 FPS.
My PS3 cost $600 when we got it.

Best part, you don't get a whole computer with your PS3.
People always seem to forget that nearly everyone owns a computer, and by buying it separate of your console you're spending even more money, as opposed to having them in one place.
