Call me an optimist but I'm kind of hoping that SR is just suffering from a startrek film-esque odd/even number curse. I mean, the first was buggy shit, then the second came along and blew it out of the water; and it took place in an expanded version of the first city. Maybe Volition should just take time expanding and building on each game rather than producing something fairly lightweight and easy to burn through and then fixing shit in the sequel. Anyway, I'm not going to be so quick to condemn Volition; if I had done that the first time they disappointed me I would have never played Saints Row 2.
I seem to be the only person that's looking forward to this because it looks fun to fuck around in. You guys take your over the top silly games way to seriously.

I'll probably pick this up during a Steam Sale.
At least the move from SR2 to SR3 was obvious, with the new city and graphics This game is quite literally the same game, same cars, same NPC civies, same weapons (plus a few gimmick shit like dubstep gun) The best it has to offer is some pretty dull super powers and fighting aliens They should have left it as DLC because this clearly isn't expanded enough to be its own thing and not SR3.5
I'm sorry, have you played the game? Has the game been released? What's in the video snippets they've shown is many months old, it is still in production, we have already seen new NPC's in newer screens. I don't fully blame people for these assumptions, I do blame you guys for gobbling it up like and judging the game as if it was released and everything you speculate and say about it is the truth. Be skeptical, asolutely, but don't say shit as if it was factual statements when there is no proof for it other than promotional material, when it gets out hundreds of people will review it and show video footage and images of the game confirming or disproving your theories.

u got him, u did it
