I don't even want to click it, what's this about now?
because VR and other shit comes out in 2016. I'd say we haven't hit it just yet.

Basically solely going on about Valve living room division

Just because of VR?
tbh, that would be the lowest of my desires, and I'd say there are better reasons to get into PC gaming instead of console gaming other than VR, but then again its just an opinion
not that VR is bad ofc
How hyperbolic can you get?
All steam boxes suck though

HOWEVER the steam controller is amazing with the fact that I can play any keyboard and mouse only title on a controller like cities skylines or civ v. This is big

It's not just about the Steam Machines though. With the Steam Link I'm able to use my PC and play in my living room. So yeah, it also worked for me.
I wonder how well the steam controller handles flight sims
I was under the impression it started gaining ground when HDTVs came in and suddenly it was possible connect the things up to one another. That was around 2006 at the earliest.
yeah i've had my tv plugged into my computer since late 09 with a 15 foot hdmi cable.
The reception to Steam machines was somewhere between lukewarm to nonexistent, and the controller, while cool, is nowhere near ready for primetime. I mean it's a hell of a first step (the big picture UI is getting better seemingly every day) but... conquered? This is basically PC gaming poking it's head into the living room to have a look around.

This.
Also what is up with living room couch craze? I understand when playing games in local coop but anything else is just meh.
I'd rather just lug my pc to the living room tbh
unless you have guests coming over to specifically play games every single day it's not a big deal to move a tower for the occasion of friends coming over to play gaems
