I somehow think the whole 'wow' effect everyone is currently having with different situations like the rollercoaster demo and this that it will all wear off and becomes more normal.
By the time that happens we'll already most likely be seeing proper games developed with specifically the Rift in mind.
My main problem with the Rift is the overall personal usage of it. Sure I imagine it would be definitely fun at first but how long would it last before it could lose its charm?
Will take a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time before that happens, basic human reflexes have had thousands of years to attach to us.
Yeah, even something like TrackIR still wows me, that feeling of leaning out the side of a plane in Rise of Flight to see something, or just simply looking at something on the ground as you circle around it, I'd imagine that with an Oculus it'd be 100x better. Now we just need virtual reality hands in DCS for those A10C startups.
I want to see games that let you shoot yourself in the foot
Well thanks to the newest patch in planetside 2, sometimes when you look down and throw c4, it lands on your foot and sticks to it, does that count? :v:
I can't wait for a Russian roulette game for this. :v:
