My jaw dropped to China
I was wondering what the hell your jaw was doing in my dumplings.
Heh, they made a Horse armour joke.
A lot of this is the same footage from E3, but some of it is new, like the inventory system.
The dragon picked up the giant just like last time, so I don't think that was something random that happened just then, nor was it scripted.
I think they just played while recording, then used the most interesting footage they got. And if they did script anything, it was just so they could show off the things that were possible without having to waste so much time waiting for the coolest things to happen.
People are complaining that because things might be staged or scripted in this demo, but that's just what it is, a demo. They're just showing you examples of what could happen, that doesn't mean the exact same thing is going to happen when you get to those places in the game.
Was it not obvious that they just recorded a lot of gameplay and showed footage of it? How else would they have shown so much in so little time?
Graphics really don't look that great. Dull textures, really noticeable pop-in, some terrible animations (Horse walking is realistic, trotting is not. etc.) There's also obnoxious screen tearing.
But at least I can tune settings up on PC! Buying this for sure.
e:The ui is really annoying though. Why can't we just get something small in the bottom left corner?
Yay PC mods!
It's because it's on a 360
I'm happy to see modular armor like in Morrowind and Oblivion (boots gloves helmets etc.) I missed that in Fallout.
Also I agree that the map is sooo sexy but I don't think it quite fits the style. It sure is innovative and looks amazing but I'm just so used to Oblivion having a certain feel about everything, such as the map, which was like what a real map should look like.
I even have a poster size map of Tamriel on my wall.
it's funny how a game 5 months from release looks more polished than how some games look when they're a month from release
I have yet to see anyone do any parrying or blocking with a sword.
Can't wait for this. The Creation Engine looks fantastic.
