a grand is a lot if you are preparing/are in college
Not really, I'm studying at the moment too. I just work a fair bit as well.
some people go full time
I'm full time. :v:
.
Strangely, my macbook can run GTA4 fine at 2880x1800 and high settings, while other games at that resolution aren't as smooth.
And that's another thing, it's so damned inconsistent too.
A friend of mine with an ATI card from several years ago, that's worse than mine by a significant margin, can run the game at a his native resolution on Medium.
9800 GT, 2.6 GHz processor, could run GTA IV on very high at a steady 30 FPS. I don't even.
When i first got Gta IV, I played at 640 x 480 and everything at lowest with quite a bit of lag and I still had a lot of fun. And I played it in that state for months.
So yeah, I guess GTA V will be fine by me :v:
This time I really really really hope the police actually chase you. It's so fucking lame that they just don't bother if you go over 30 mph.
Sleeping Dogs did it kinda right. It was sometimes quite a bother to loose the police in a med-tier car.
Then again, the Ram-car-loose-wanted-level thing was making it too easy.
I've never had a problem with GTA IV's settings ever? Even when I had a more worse card than I do now, it was still pretty good.
I'd not like to think that.
Fuck
How is my poor laptop going to deal with this
Amazing... cant wait for this!
Seeing as how Max Payne 3 was a damn near-perfect port (meaning VERY slight issues that aren't much of a problem) I'm sure GTA V will be a great port too.
They could have modeled it after the aventador.
oh god if this game has even better wheel suspension dynamics than gta iv i will cream myself sterile
If they keep making all these pretty landscapes 80% of my gameplay is just going to be sightseeing

Isn't this bridge is is San Fierro?
It connected the second and third island together
Either they've reshaped all of San Andreas or they're including everything
It is, although it's the only one of the three that isn't based on an actual San Francisco bridge (it's based on Forth Bridge in Scotland), and it seems a bit close to the LA skyline to be San Fierro
plus the one in SA, ran parallel to the Bay Bridge, and that one isn't in this picture, so I would guess that San Fierro isn't making a comeback.
[editline]28th August 2012[/editline]
Actually the bay bridge isn't in San Andreas either. Both the rail and road bridges are based on the one in Scotland

It wasn't a port I don't think, they said they developed it alongside the console version.
Developed in parallel with the game's console versions, the PC version of Max Payne 3 supports a number of advanced graphics options, scalable high-resolution textures and character models, DirectX11 features, multi-monitor support and 3D.
