Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes completed in less than two hours

i have a feeling this game is gonna get bashed in reviews for this
not because it's short, but because they're selling the prologue
they're splitting it up cus phantom pain isn't going to be out until like 2016
better to tide people over with something instead of nothing

well yeah and money obviously
if you're so miffed by this why don't you wait for the inevitable complete pack?
to be clear i agree with what you're saying, but i expected this outcome since the fact that ground zeroes and phantom pain were different games was announced

and i kind of think anyone who expected differently is a bit naive
Why support the developers, when you can go play with rocks, Right? You're equating the price of the game to a full game, and if you really want to look at this, look at MW3. The campaign? 5-6hrs at most. This campaign? 2 hours. one is 60, the other is 20, and to boot, you'd be helping them develop another game, and support them, But fuck logic, right?
Nobody bought MW3 for the campaign though, right? People play hundreds of hours of multiplayer, that's where the meat of CoD games are at. It could even be argued that it's better value than GZ because people get so much bang for their buck online.
you can think something is questionable but still be excited for it. just because you're being overcharged doesn't change the fact that it's more mgs

What, no.
Its apparently mostly finished already.
Like, its probably going to get released either really late this year or early next year.
it's really funny to see diehard mgs fans tryin to defend this
considering phantom pain is so far off if they weren't releasing ground zeroes now you'd have like a thousand people going "man why don't they just release ground zeroes first i'd pay full price just for that" so can you really blame them

Its not exactly hard to defend it.
20 Dollar release of the prologue so fans can experience the Fox Engine for the first time and to please them until Phantom Pain.
The length is just the main mission, it doesnt include the 5 side missions. (i assume 6, if its not counting the exclusive per console)

If it was 60 dollars, that'd be different.
Still buying it. It's been far too long since an MGS game came out, can't wait any longer.

you disagree with me therefore you are a diehard fan and youre just defending it blindly
im not saying this is a good decision by kojima, but come on, this is like the worst argument ever, if it even counts as an argument

My problem is according to all the information I can find online, it's going to be £20 digitally in the Uk, rather than like, £12.
£20 for a Prologue to a game is awful value, I could spend the money much better elsewhere, heck I could buy the HD collection for less than that, and that's 3 full games.
