Battlefield 4 release date set for October 31, Commander Mode and Battlelog 2.0 spilled by retailer

I'd love to see them give massive bonuses for completing objectives and following orders... maybe even reduce the points for kills a little. At the moment most people ignore that and treat all game modes like TDM.

I like how the're releasing features available 8 years ago as something supposedly "BRAND NEW". I don't know how they're going to tie it in with possibly smaller maps than the original Battlefield 2+expacks, with artillery and all that. Some of the most fun things for the special forces class to do was raid the enemy artillery on maps like Dalian Plant while the commander is dropping in ammo boxes for you and enemy USMC are trying to secure the island that the arty is located on with boats from the carrier.
