Halo CE, ODST, and Reach had the best campaigns. Wasn't a fan of the other games' campaigns at all.
Halo CE, 2, and 5 had the best multiplayer, imo. Halo 3 felt/feels way too sluggish to me for some reason, 4 was just plain bad, and Reach was just something I didn't care for. I liked the maps in Reach a lot but couldn't really get into it for some reason.
I reckon it's coming too. Every single goddamn first party exclusive shown off at E3 was W10, and in the article spencer says how "it's not about making windows users go out and buy an xbox". It's a shame, I'd really love 3, Reach and 4 on the PC, but this is the next best thing. Spencer also compared Halo 5 Forge to be like Forza Apex
hold on
if the xb1 is running on windows 10, couldn't the mcc theoretically be played on pc?

It's a heavily modified Windows 10, but sort of yes?
It's not as simple as dropping the files on a Win10 PC and firing up the game. A lot of people seem to think it works that way but it doesn't.
Halo 5 was a really good game. The pvp is great, probably the best time I had with match making in a halo game. If you actually give a shit about halo and not just the nostalgia of playing halo 2/3 you would see that. 343 is made of mostly ex-bungie people that still wanted to make halo/people that love halo???

The only good thing about halo 3 was forge/custom games. And all the other games have better versions of that. You (like me) probably just played it in a time when you and your friends had the time/xboxes to do shit like that. I will say though that time period of my life was probably some of the best time I had playing vidya.

"theoretically" yeah but that game was designed for a very specific closed system and at this point in time it would be not a very good idea to put the money/time into making it work on a pc
343 has only a handful of bungie employees iirc but I agree. I'd still love MCC for the sake of the halo 3/4/odst campaign and nostalgia of multiplayer, but 5's multiplayer is bloody great.
also my biggest complaint is we're missing out on firefight, no odst or reach or halo 5 multiplayer means no firefight of any kind for the time being :(

Nope, only a modified blu ray drive will get bone games launching on the desktop version

Where did you hear that?
I worked for Xbox and know that isn't true at all. There's a lot more to it than just that.
Halo 4 wasn't even an idea when Halo 3 came out, Master Chief's story was over.
No, it wasn't. Bungle left it wide open for his story to continue. Whether it was them or another team to continue it.

"Wake me if you need me"?
The Dawn floating towards mysterious forerunner object?
