what i'm interested in knowing is [sp]how they're going to show BJ escaping from essentially calling down a nuke on his position after being blown up[/sp]
If you listen closely during the credits [sp]you can hear one of the helicopters coming in, possibly to pick him up.[/sp]
I've been playing through TNO and the world-building it does is just absolutely amazing. Everything looks like it belongs and there are lots of interesting mentions to things that happened around the rest of the world. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the next game expands upon the scale of things.
About the only thing with the world that throws me off is the 5 minute drive from London to Berlin.

What if they pull some robocop shit and turn us into a half-man half-machine Nazi killer
Considering [sp]One of the Primary Antagonists is still alive, as is HITLER in some weird zombie form[/sp] I'd love to see a sequel.
Maybe they skirted around [sp]Hitler[/sp] since at the time TNO released Wolfenstein was a failing franchise and they wanted to gauge public reception of Machinegames' rendition of the franchise before doing something that would require them to put resources into censoring the game or not releasing it in Germany.
tbh I'm hoping after this one they'll at least let the franchise rest for a while so MachineGames can work on another revival of a classic FPS IP or even create a new IP entirely.
That said though, I'm excited.

Indeed. And I imagine one of the first scenes in The New Colossus will be [sp]Blazko waking up in sick bay onboard the Circle's commandeered nuclear sub.[/sp] It makes sense narratively, at least.

I'd be game for having Machinegames be the guys to make Quake V. Assuming that if and when Quake Champions fails, iD won't act like syphilitic chimps, and thus realise that it's time to greenlight a new singleplayer Quake game.
If ever there was a game that deserved a sequel, it was TNO. Besides the way ended I mean, which basically meant that there had to be a sequel, the story was just fucking fantastic.
Except for the whole Da'at Yichud "we actually stole all our technology from the Jews" thing. Wasn't a fan of that because of how it ruined the running theme of Nazi super science and occultism.
I disagree. A whole running theme in the story is how the Nazi order is fundamentally broken, corrupt and rotten from the inside out. They constantly show it through different things, the most obvious one being that the Nazi empire is quite literally crumbling (and all of its people wasting away) because of the mold in the concrete.
Even their greatest accomplishment was just stolen from those they despise, not only is their society rotten, but its built on lies.
I hope the new Wolfenstein goes into more detail about what happen in Japan( aren't they the only thing that is kind of under own control if even though it's a nazi puppet? ) plus in other parts of the world like the sa and rest of the Americas

They have Fucking mechs and dark magic
I'd still like sort of a Enemy Territory sequel with Rebel VS Nazi, though I'd rather someone besides Machine Games worked on it, since they seem to excel at Singleplayer.

Well... Splash Damage is still around.
Oh god... I just realized how cool it would be to have multiplayer with The New Order's mechanics.
I just hope they fix the one flaw of TNO which was the fact that it had way too many cutscenes that could've been cut off for more gameplay. Also more Moon and possibly Venus please.
Seriously, the pure gunplay/gameplay in that game is one of the best I've ever experienced and I need more of it.

Enemies became a bit too bully spongy, especially when armor is introduced. The AI also could easily hit through thick smoke which was annoying.

I've never noticed the bullet sponginess as shit still dies really quick if you headshot or use the shotgun even on Uber.
The armored guys like the Fire Trooper and Rocket Trooper can both be killed very quickly if you use the Lazerkraftswerk or 1 or 2 AR rockets. The only enemy that I thought was bullshit was the Super Soldier as it took more than 3 Lazerkraftswerk charges to the head to kill on Uber and in some instances, I was forced to take the boring way of stealth just to avoid fighting those cunts. Despite that though, every other enemy in the game can be easily killed if you know which weapon to use.
AI being aimbotty wasn't that much of an issue for me as I usually move all around the place while shooting. Shit does get really fucking bad in the bridge level where long sightlines, lack of cover and the AI aimbotness can fuck you over hard.

Umm the big square box thing you could dual wield made armored anything a joke, including UberMeks, on the hardest difficulty.
This honestly isn't that much of a spoiler but BJ is deffo going to be having a kid at some point won't he
doom guy

What? There is no "5 minute drive". One of the characters even says "I've got a 14 hour drive" right before that mission.
