Trainers are a lot more than just infinite life and infinite bullets with GTA IV. Spawn cars, extreme movement manipulation, character model changing, teleports... If we get a PC port then I expect the same if not more with GTAV.
[sp]You also have a family guy avatar. Just sayin...[/sp]
this and only this, I don't even pay attention to news about GTAV cause I don't care if there's no PC port
when it comes out on console only, i'm gonna post shitloads of fun gameplay videos on your profile page

Crysis sharks are much scarier than FC3 sharks.
Mainly because they're great whites.

Also because they are capable of chewing through a bulletproof suit.

Obviously, the sharks in Crysis are only there to act as a deterrent for the player travelling out into the ocean in one level.

Never before has a username ever described the person behind it more accurately....
Y'know what this game needs that GTA IV missed out on?
Asshole Physics
If I throw a brick at somebody's car, I want it to smash the windshield, and then the driver to slam on the brakes / swerve
In GTA IV, bricks just bounced off shit like blocks of styrofoam, but you could still grab them and throw them at things

Also, better driver AI than "object is 2 meters away, come to a gentle stop"
I wanna park on a highway and cause pileups

I personally thought the civilian AI in IV drove far too safely, and often at speeds that didn't make sense. I dunno how accurate the speedometer display is that is in many addons, but much of freeway traffic moved at 40-45 mph and city traffic slowed to as low as 20 mph on large, open straightaways. I would have loved to see the chaos, pileups and fights one had to swerve to avoid in GTA: San Andreas.

The AI can't handle car physics in 4. Any faster and they would go out of control.

It instant kills you if it does it's bite animation regardless of HP or distance
Always wondered how you would do a submarine in a game engine.
As in, how would you clip the water to not be in the cockpit.
SuperLlama helped develop GTA 5 clearly.

You do not want to see the things I'm seeing inside my head.

Itisjuly hit this one pretty good. Mod a car the AI commonly drives, such as a taxi, to have a batshit bonkers engine, infinite grip, and a stupidly low center-of-mass. You'll find out that, even without spooking them, they lurch around riding wheelies and smashing into shit all the time. It's fucking hilarious to watch but annoying to try to drive around.
I modded a couple of cars to be bonkers and it resulted in much hilarity. The analog for a Chevy workvan was modified to be a fucking crazy drift/powerslide machine. The AI would usually spin them out if spooked, and ram people normally. The 80s crown vic analog was modded to ride wheelies up to 160MPH...spooking the AI drivers of those things often meant a pileup. And then there was the fucknuts lunacy police cruiser I made. It made getting away from the cops stupidly easy because, when the cops gave chase, the front tires never touched the ground.....and the cop rocketed into the distance accelerated at a speed that NASA would go "Holy shit that's fast" at.
im really hoping the pc port will actually be playable upon launch
and that gfwl isnt in there, holy fucking shit the horror

You mean you didn't love Rockstar Social Club? Say it ain't so.
They can simply add a modifier to prevent water shaders and entities from drawing. They didn't though because either they're lazy or you may need costly volumetric lighting to do a glass dome properly
Pretty sure you just cobbled a bunch of words together to try and sound like you know what you're talking about.
Guess who isn't going to be swimming in the ocean? This guy.
I was expecting "PC players" as the answer.

That all made perfect sense to me
The water shaders are what makes everything look like you're underwater, and volumetric lighting is the way light passes through things like trees and glass, which can be expensive to simulate properly
Far cry 1 had sharks, the horror when i was A kid!
Oh man a friendly dog
That motherfucker better survive for the entire game or I'm going to be pissed

"add a modifier to prevent water shaders and entities from drawing" Makes very little sense in graphics programming and is very vague. Nothing more than pretentious rubbish.

wtf thats a black guy racist
Dogs.. I remember in BF3, the player wasn't able to shoot the dog. It was pretty bullshit for the sake of realism.
But in Hitman Absolution, I could "silence" the dog as I relentlessly "silenced" all the other armed guards in the game.
I think we're going to be able to shoot dogs in GTAV.
[editline]29th December 2012[/editline]
Or wait, not if that dog is a story character and the only dog in the city/game. Lol.
We're going to have a ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS FOLLOW THE DAMN DOG FRANKLIN, arent we?

This.
This is the spirit of GTA.
