Hey look, it's combine soldier animations and the bugbait dance.
I recall the Devs saying that the Combine soldier animations were alot more better than anything they did for the HECU soldiers, so they just used those animations.

(Simplified as fuck, it's more complicated than that but the idea is sound) If Galactopticon can do mocap, BMS sure as hell can do it.
Black Mesa Hype
Yeah, whatever, call me when it's released. The devs have burnt through all the goodwill capital they had, and that hapened years ago. By this time, it's like the boy who cried wolf.
To be honest I'd rather them stay quiet until they're nearly finished the game. Releasing new media way before the game is completed is just going to get people excited for nothing.
Those shadows are clearly coming from the orange light emitted by the chamber, and they're fuzzy around the edges like Source 2007 shadows/projected textures are. better quality image [t]http://wiki.blackmesasource.com/images/9/99/Bm_mr_05.jpg[/t]
I can appreciate people being hopeful but those ARE baked. It's definitely possible to get shadows like that with -staticprops in your VRAD and having the lightmap grid on 2. The shadows also have the blue-green tinge that happen from bounce errors. To top it off, the shadows are very thick and low-quality only on the metal edges of the floor, likely because the lightmap grid settings on them are still default.
I'd say Black Mesa first based on these recent events.
Black Mesa looked like it was close to release in 2009 or 2010. Here we are in 2012 with no end in sight.

They were rushing it so much that when it was somewhat "done" it wasn't really what they wanted to do with the game. I'd rather have a game with some good content than a rushed release, even if it means that I'll be teased to no end.
