From what I've seen this game just isn't the FEAR it was. The first FEAR was cool what with being about fucking with your mind ex. this little girl is scary and she pops up and scares you when you least expect it, otherwise just a normal FPS game and such but now it's just straight psychic hell demon shit creepy satanist signs on walls n stuff. and no kung-fu kick :saddowns:
I didn't even realize that this was any where close to release.
Been playing for 2 hours, it is better than I thought it would be. But, it needs improvement, mostly graphical bugs here and there... Any other opinions?
I think I might get it, but that's for the PS3. They seem to have put a lot of time into the co-op, and that's something rarely seen. It has local co-op, as well.
I'm with slayer on this, I love when games are released and no one fucking cares
I still haven't played the second one. Who are the people in the banner
I still haven't played the second one. Who are the people in the banner
They are family. :3:
They are family. :3:
Indeed.
They are family. :3:
Seems like a really friendly game
I'm fucking calling this right now: this game will not be very good. Not bad, but nothing to write about either.
and no kung-fu kick :saddowns:
whaaaaat? no kung-fu? but that was the best thing about F.E.A.R
And it aint out yet in Europe.
time to move my computer up to my bathroom again
whaaaaat? no kung-fu? but that was the best thing about F.E.A.R
Best part was running through entire levels just with fists and kicks
nope.
I actually quite liked the second game. Went from scary monets with the occasional firefight and reversed it, but Beckett was okay. And I got it new for £4.50. Can't knock it.
I still haven't played the second one. Who are the people in the banner
Paxton Fettel on the left and Point Man on the right.
well i should probably get my laptop and sit in a the toilet.
I pre-ordered it last night, will play it sometime later today. It's not going to be revolutionary, but I have a feeling it will yield a nice couple of playthroughs. I really enjoyed FEAR 1, especially Extraction Point.
How's the co-op?
I didn't know this had two characters to play through SP. Are they different campaigns or the same level progression with differing cutscenes and such?
Huh. Reviews are in, it's actually supposedly not all that bad... Well I think I'm a big enough person to admit when I'm wrong.
of course you're wrong. did you even doubt you were wrong?
I haven't played the second one yet, mainly because I didn't think that the first one was that scary. But on the other hand, buying games and then not playing them is a waste of money so I think I will give the second one a try again—eventually.
so far what do you rate it I think I might buy it
How's the co-op?
awesome.
I've played the first two levels. My main gripe is the stupid challenge popups. I get a popup when I take cover, get ammo, kill a guy, etc. and it takes away the immersion. My character even "levels up" just like in COD. Unfortunate to see that another game is plagued by the COD craze. Other than that, the combat is pretty nice. Violence looks very real and I like the story so far.
Dam it, I wan't to play it, Europe release dates!!!!!!
Paxton Fettel on the left and Point Man on the right.
Is that Alma stylized in the middle or what because on the steam banner it really looked like a dude
