This thread is a joke. Season passes are awesome if there done right. Like this one and Gears of War 3 and Battlefield 3 Premium thing. You pay for 3 DLCs and get the 4th one [I]free[/I]. I like them and i dont have to go out and buy M$ points to get them.

And I agree, I like season passes. Except SR3 but that is sorta (not really) excusable because of THQ's financial problems and the fact that SR3 is the most fun I've had since Just Cause 2

But it's such a lousy thing. They're basically saying, buy something you don't know what it is yet, or you'll have to spend more money later. People feel like they're getting taken for a ride. What is wrong with buying something straight up when it actually exists?

Hell, I'm pretty sure you can buy season passes even after all the content has been released.

All of them, even the terrible underdome riot added new environments, characters, enemies, missions, and of course, guns. A lot of guns.

I was assuming they were just trying to get people to buy something they may not even want because otherwise they'd not get the discount.

It's a gamble, that's my point, a gamble that usually turns developers lazy.

But this is Gearbox were talking about they're pretty good to there customers. (And dont even mention the game that shall not be named) If it was a company like EA or Activision then it would be gamble.
