The War Z launch hit with player complaints, pulled from Steam

however the promo images you're showing are from games that have gameplay, and are not bare bones minimum that have nothing to show for itself that other games don't already have, especially the game that it's a suspected ripoff of.
war z has a lot to prove, but has absolutely nothing to show for it, and all of its promo images and information are lies to try and compensate for its short-comings.
Well it certainly is nothing new that's for sure

Hitman Absolution did not look like that (thank fucking god) this was just done to get you hyped for OH SHIT SWEET GRAPHICS OMG
They are essentially doing the same thing the "AAA companies" have been doing for years only they are being bitched at since it's the cool thing to hate War Z now, it's "scumbaggy" nonetheless and I'm not saying I agree with it, just saying it's here more than we think.
At least they had the decency to put those "bull shots" at the end of the screenshot slideshow instead of the beginning, though they are still there nonetheless
there's a big difference between touching up screenshots and editing in fake features that don't actually exist in the game at all
Were kinda forgetting here that this literally looks like it's sharing the same launch and dev hell as APB: Reloaded. I'm just being out there but as someone who used to play APB at launch to it's current state this is some giant deja-vu
In all seriousness, if there's one thing APB: Reloaded can teach anyone, it's that a game with a really, really lovely launch can with enough care and effort overcome a lot of its initial problems and survive with a dedicated fanbase intact, and provide an at least vaugely entertaining experience to a lot of its players.
Say what you will about APB:R, but it's improved immensely since it was in RTW's hands (And it only took three years!). I'd actually hesistate to say APB's history was nearly as bad as War Z's, because all of its problems stemmed from misguided, unreal expectations from a company completely out of their depth rather than outright maliciousness as displayed from some of these videos featuring the devs for this game, but they're two very similar products.
