I would not register even if it was free, there is no way they can enforce it, also trying to restrict where it can fly with gps is laughable and will never work.

What the fuck, 8ozs? That would mean I'd be expected to register for a shitty little drone I bought for fun one time.
If it wasn't for the likely fees etc. I'd be supporting this, really it ought to cut down incidents I'd imagine.

they can probably get the companies like dji to enforce registration but its pretty worthless when you can buy a gps fc from china for a couple of quid
