I heard somewhere they're changing game engine, is that true?
No. They're renaming their current engine (VR with some of their own additions) - It's not much of a change at all. :v
-snip fuck i realized i was being dumb mid pressing the reply button-
I just want them to add vehicles, so that I don't have to spend 2 hours walking along a road to meet up with my friends.

Honestly I think DayZ is one of the few Early Access games coming along smoothly. It's been receiving updates for both content and making the game a smoother experience. The team has been expanding and they're working on multiple things to make this game complete. It's going to take time but you can see the progress. The Steam page even tells you not to buy it unless you intend on supporting development. It's an alpha - it's hardly finished.
You guys were severely warned about how broken and unfinished the game is on the store page. I bought it too but Im not gonna complain if my money was wasted. Thats what Early Access is about, supporting the developer and playing an early build of the game so that the devs can get feedback on stuff to improve.
i still feel like i wasted 30$
You bought into an unfinished game under early access. You knew what you were getting into.
What the hell are we paying for? Clothes and a new ui? That doesn't warrant 30$, it's pretty much the same god damn game as the mod. They haven't made any significant updates to the game as far as I can see. Woohoo animals. Joy. Definitely looking forward to fish swimming out of my way So excuse me for being slightly disappointed. I don't care if it's early access, the amount of development is pitiful for the amount of money they received.
God, I don't care, just make it so zombies don't walk through buildings. Stop everything and please just make that one thing happen.
They just announced that they have the working zombie navmesh in internal testing/svn right now, so it should actually be implemented in less than a few updates (a month or two at most). [editline]8th July 2014[/editline]
i still feel like i wasted 30$
I don't understand this. This game released in alpha in a more finished state than some triple A games at double the price, at an overall price equal to or lower than the price of ArmaII, with a better gameplay experience and hands down more entertainment value, but yet people feel as though they've wasted their money? Even after they've doubled the amount of content and shown promising improvements on gameplay and performance?
I got 10x more out of DayZ than BF4 which is more than double the price. That said, I only got 4 hours out of Battlefield before I was bored shitless so thats not much. Personally I would say I have just about justified the £20 that DayZ cost, although admittedly I got a lot more out of the mod and the slow progress has stifled my interest. Once developed further I think it has the potential to be good for years, long way off that yet though especially when things like Zombies are just a chore/annoying rather than part of the fun.
Does the game have vehicles yet?
Just wish they add bikes. At least temporarily.
